This is a nice quick puzzle game with a clean, uncluttered look. Some of the puzzles could be harder or more elegant, but it's worth the price.

Simple puzzle game and almost not challenging at all, but really enjoyable nonetheless. I think it's quite relaxing thanks to the music and the simple design. I wish there'll be a second part at some point, with more levels and with increased difficulty.

Short minimalist puzzle game, reminding me of Hook. But while there are some similarities, this game focuses more on manipulating the hooks and the target is a bit different. Graphics are okay (though on 4k there are sometimes small few pixel gaps/overlaps, not OCD-friendly), music is nice, sounds are basic, but don't retract from experience. Finish level effect could use a little improvement, in my opinion lacks "punch". Puzzles themselves work fairly well with ramping difficulty. But it is quite short, it would be nice to have a dozen or two more levels. To be fair, the price reflects this. Achievements are for completing levels, nothing too hard. To return back to comparison to Hook, in Flex hooks I found the removal (or lack of) health/attempt counter to be a good choice, it's more relaxing to not to worry about making a wrong move and risking having to redo a complex sequential puzzle. Native Linux version is a nice bonus, worked without any issues. I can recommend to the minimalist puzzle crowd even at full price. 👍

A nice and simple puzzle game. It's not hard, you just have to think a little bit. It's fun for a low price, quick to beat.

Easy and relaxing puzzle game that looks good and sounds good. Unfortunately, only has 50 levels, a lot of which are way too easy.

Short, enjoyable and good puzzle design. You really can't go wrong with Flex Hooks even at full price. I feel Flex Hooks can serve as a great example on how games can explain themselves.

Played on Steam Deck. For how much Flex Hooks is ripping off Hook, it brings a slightly different style that is still enjoyable. Even falling short of Hook's legacy they did at least wait 6 years without a sequel so I can respect it.

This was an unimpressive minimalist casual puzzle game. It had 2-3 neat ideas, but doesn't build the game around them. The only real challenge I experienced was that parts of the final level were almost off-screen on a 16:10 resolution of 1920x1200...

Easy Only get if you found other puzzle games difficult. Thedox, please get the minimum number of moves needed for each puzzle. Add this as a 2nd play through option.

flex hooks is basically the love child of hook and sinkr, with basic functionality that's missing from the former and without level reset upon making a mistake, which is present in both. it's still not just a bunch of trial & error, though I found it hard to tell sometimes what goes where exactly, and it would've been really annoying with more punishing gameplay. you're moving and rotating hooks on 50 levels to make way for green stuff shooting out of one active button to another. there are a few more simple mechanics, but that's the gist of it. no timer, timing or move limit, undo isn't necessary either, but it's possible to hook yourself into a corner, so it's good that level reset got patched in. rotating is only possible in one direction and it's the main culprit behind reaching a fail state, so rotating in the opposite direction with right click wouldn't hurt either. the presentation is good enough with a black background, no need for dark mode, but puzzle pieces going off-screen sometimes isn't very elegant. audio is pleasant too, though I found the squeeky rotation sound annoying. separate volume settings and windowed mode with a resizable window are available. it's a simple game done well and allowing misclicks makes it actually relaxing, unlike those self-proclaimed 'zen' puzzlers out to frustrate you every step of the way. mechanics are varied enough for a one-hour experience and introduced at a steady pace, the price is reasonable too, so if you want to sink your hooks into something, this might as well be it.
