I think that this is really cool and worth the fifteen dollars. However, I wish there were lionfish and moorish idols.

i dont want to be too harsh about this & i might well be totally missundersdtanding or missing something but to me this is like a modern version of one of those old interactive screensavers where you can choose what fish & add coral etc. okay so i think it is me not knowing what i am doing. i couldnt find any corals anywhere but i think that is because the game gives you a freshwater tank at the start i dunno im confused brb. so i went for the design mode which is the unrealistic mode as in not the simulator mode. i see now that the simulator mode is very detailed with everything you can think of for water settings ..ph levels ...tons of that sort of stuff. also in sim mode you have to consider fish compatability. i hope it has a tutorial for sim mode so you dont just have to guess & learn trial & error. i would love this if it did have a game mode where you had to level up to unlock & learn the bext thing...this would make a great turtorial & gaming mode. i know a lot of people dont like not being able to access all the content straight away but surely that is what sandbox mode is for, it woldnt hurt to have gameplay elements & taht is why aquarist is my favourite fish game plus it has got a mind boggling amount of coral & you can even breed & focus on the coral, it is not as accurate & real to life as this sim by the looks of it but it does still have basic heating , ph & compatablle plants & species plus over population & sickness but this is more real to life by the looks of it. they are both very nice & what i love about this is the steam workshop where you can download other players beautiful aquariums. i wasnt sure this would be something i would enjoy all that much , it could do with more coral, not sure if it has anenomes (cant spell it) but it definately needs some & urchins ...maybe it already has them .

I've always liked games in which you can build aquariums and seen plenty of them, this one is my favourite so far, since it offers quite free building, sizes and many species, keeping things mostly realistic as well. If customization is what you want, this one is the best of it's kind known to me.

This is a great game. You can really tell it was made by someone who loves fish!
What I particularly like is how the habits of each fish are portrayed in the game. It's so beautiful, it's almost like looking at a real aquarium and its fish. And yet, the game makes it so fun, allowing you to easily do things that would be difficult in real life, like creating live rock in your favorite shape and breeding fish!
There are so many different types of fish, and the jellyfish I purchased are beautiful. I'm very satisfied, but personally, I'd love it if there were rays like Potamotrygonidae and Hemitrygon akajei. I especially want to see Potamotrygonidae swimming with Arowana and Datnioides!
Thank you for a great game!
Of course, I recommend this game to anyone who loves aquariums.
