honest review here, i really liked it, even though it had some issues first of all, the post processing on this is really great. this game is incredibly aesthetic. the story is really interesting, even if a little confusing at times. the game has some great moments, and i give it credit for that that said, the biggest issues i have with this game are: the jumping feels good, but you can't look back while jumping, you'll always go where you're looking. that killed me a lot because enemies were always behind me, and when i went to look at them i just lauched myself at them lmao. same with the shotgun, i thought you were gonna introduce parkour with it, but when you launch yourself back with it and get huge momentum, the rule above also applies, if you were going backwards when you shot it, when you turn, you'll also be going backwards?? the momentum basically depends on where you're looking, and since you can't shoot behind you, the shotgun doesn't really help with mobility. and with that, you miss a good speedrunning strat (though i think they would just complete the game going on reverse lmao), because even if you don't make your game for people to speedrun it, it just helps with the user experience overall. not needing to wait for dialogue, fast respawning, dynamic level design, smooth mechanics, not needing to hear the repeated dialogue after you die (i'm talking to you, final boss.), etc. and it also helps to see if you can complete the game hitless, because oh my god i can't dodge the red enemies for NOTHING, and there seems to be enemies that just reach you across the whole room (i'm talking to you, first boss.) and also some few bugs, like when you minimize the window or just open steam overlay and get back, you just get stuck and can't move or shoot until you reopen the game, and when you beat it, the main menu just simply doesn't spawn a cursor (lmao) and you also have to reopen the game. besides that, no major bugs, never got stuck with things that weren't those two, but they're still kinda annoying I can see which games this was inspired on, i don't remember all i thought about, but i remember heavy mentions of portal, half life, stanley parable, and even when the darkness comes. of course, these are just the ones i played and found similar, and if you don't know one of them (especially the last one, since it's the odd one out) go play it. now. great experience, good game, a few problems, but the game kinda makes up for that. it's not a thing for everyone, but i enjoyed it. 7/10 for me :) can't wait for you next game now that you have more experience!

ENEMIES is what I would call a terrifying masterpiece, I loved playing every bit of it but also questioned so many things. If you like weird short indie games this is a good one to play.

Visit Lollygag Studios to see the amazing new immersion game they're working on. But the studio is seemingly abandoned. Gasp! Go between the offices and 80's inspired cyberworld to shoot dudes and solve the mystery. Was "ok" but I got stuck in a spot on what to do next and likely won't return. Physics are super jank where items would stick to me regardless of if I tried to lift them and controller sensitivity was awful, even at 10%
