New map, Lost Bando, this is the most amazing bando map that I have ever flown. I play just about every FPV simulator out there, daily(not kidding). Not a single one has ever "NAILED" what a bando map should be like, until now. I'm not a huge fan of the other maps in AI Simulator, quite frankly, I think that they are horrible, but this map, I will be flying it daily. Keep up the great work AI crew

By FAR the best FPV sim to date. Physics that actually resemble life. No more floating like a balloon with every throttle blip.
Did i mention fully configurable. Enter your exact quad dimensions, adjust power, response and latency even add a black box log to get the same feel as you are used to.
Freestyle and racing, this Sim does a great job at both..
Over a 100 hours on this sim now and it is by far the most realistic feeling.

I've tried basically every single FPV sim on steam and this is by far the most rich in terms of locations. They are just super detailed and beautiful, ideal for free-style and long run. But, exactly because of how large they are, I wouldn't advise this to someone who's still learning, because it would be frustrating, probably, better getting something more focused on developing your skills than exploration. Beside that, great game. (updated after 4h more game-play).

This is not a simulator at all. Physics (beside the bethesda style clipping) is awful, no momentum, no inertia, maps are boring as hell. Especially coupled with lack of real physics. I feel sorry for money spent on this game and don't recommend it to anyone.

Best drone sim i've used 100%. Amazing physics, object collision is perfect you can fit through literally any gap you see if your drone is small enough. Crazy amount of detail on some of the maps, best one is the truck factory imo.

Love the physics in this game, Imported some of my heavier 10" quads blackbox logs and it actually feels like your flying a heavy 10", awesome! Motors saturating on pitch flips and all. Ill even try some cinelifter practice on this sim once i get one built up.(see how it handles x8 logs)
Would love to see a larger map eventually incorporating multiple types of terrain (city/forest/farm/mountains/etc) as i find myself switching maps frequently

AiDrone is what you get when you merge a smart idea with a bloated, unfinished sim. The idea to use black box logs to import the same feel of your own quad is smart and impressive. Unfortunately, the lack of realistic physics, inclusion of annoying visual choices like constantly changing camera exposure, and absolutely no multiplayer makes this sim seem as if it is years from becoming a final product.
AiDrone would benefit from removing the visual elements that distract from actually flying (which is the reason why people buy sims). They would do well to tweak the physics to get a realistic feel of inertia and a better feel of gravity when flying at higher speeds. Add multiplayer and settings that correspond with Betaflight 4.3 and this might be a sim worth buying.
For now, I would stick with one of the other popular sims that have perfected flight physics, gameplay, and multiplayer.

It's a work in progress. I'm not totally negative on the sim. But at this point the feel is... off, compared to other sims. It's way off compared to goggles and an analog VTX. It's lofty. It flies ... straight. It's almost as if there are no I, D , inertia, lift or part drag terms in the calculation. I can't put my finger on it exactly. But compared to flying for real, it just doesn't feel "right".

I have only run through this sim for 3 hours. That said, I have thousands of hours over the last 6 years in RL flying & 600+ hours in Sim, including DCL, DRL, Liftoff & Velocidrone. I prefer AIDroneSIMU over them all after only 3 hours because the maps include excellent terrain features, mountains, moving vehicles, city buildings... everything you would want for FPV Freestyling practice. Some of the maps are a little small, but the mountainous areas have many long runs which is something none of the other sims have.
I have imported my own 2fiddy blackbox information into AIDroneSIMU & it really feels as close to the same as I have ever felt in a sim. The main drawback is there is no multiplayer & the music really needs some work. With all the settings on Cinematic my computer feels really bogged down & jaggy at times but on high settings the sim runs really well & still looks just as good in my opinion as on cine. DEFINITELY gotta turn up brightness.
If you like Drone Racing League Simulator & Liftoff Simulators, you really should go in on AIDroneSIMU.
Alright enough jabber I gotta get back on the sticks.

I have every simulator released (Even DVR Simulator) - and this one flies more realistic to me than any of the others. The problem is the price.
Do I recommend this simulator? Yes, of course. It flies great, however, the price is a little high for what it is.
The simulator needs some work and I hope there will be future expansions. There is a limited selection of quads, but you can import from your blackbox.
At the time of this review, there is no multiplayer either. It's just over priced for what is essentially an early stage game.
