Very fun and immersive game, the characters have a lot of personality and finding out secrets in the mansion is such a thrill!

Overall, very great start to a game. I've never played a bullet-hell, but the art and music intrigued me. The style is very nice for the the dark fantasy and almost horror aspect they want to achieve, and the deep string music they've composed is fantastic at setting the atmosphere. The battles were just the right difficulty for a new player like myself, though I am unsure how those who are more skilled at bullet-hells would fare. The story is intriguing and the characters are likable as well.
I have so little problems with this game. Throughout my first playthrough, I ran into a single bug where I walked in one place through walls for a moment or two, but it was easily fixable and not gamebreaking. The only thing I feel should be added are i-frames after taking damage. It doesn't have to be long at all. In the earlier stages, they were rather difficult to get through when tanking multiple hits that were right next to each other. Other than that, the game is perfect so far.

I love supporting Mili and her work, and I love games as a method for storytelling however due to a bug I am unable to do more than essentially give my opinion of the first 10 or so minutes of the game.
The bug I am currently experiencing is that the E and Enter keys are the equivalent of Enter or 'Go' or 'Yes' I suppose. The issue is that I cannot navigate menus. WASD does nothing for the menus, nor am I capable of moving my character with those keys. I can move my character with the arrow keys, but the arrow keys fail to navigate the menus.
The aesthetics of the game are visually beautiful with a unique style, and the game portrays a narrative through gaming, which is an interesting concept.
I am sure, or at least I certainly hope this bug is fixed in the future. I don't like being a downer or being rude to what looks to be a wonderful game, but I cannot recommend a game that I am unable to play. It's early access, so bugs to be expected.
If the game works for you, it's likely a very interesting puzzle game with a good story and beautiful graphics.

really fell off after early access unfortunately. gameplay is fun and not too challenging after the difficulty patch! i enjoyed the puzzles but as someone who puts a lot of importance on plot i'm really disappointed at the drop in quality between the early access and final release. so, 4/10 overall. liked it enough to finish it

Really enjoyed the experience! But it definitely needs more polish.
The atmosphere, the themes, and aesthetics are really good, each floor is so unique and different! The bullet hell portion was part fun and part frustrating, mostly because the hitbox is kinda vague but once you learn the pattern it's pretty good. The difficulty ramp up is kinda not that linear, Floor 2 was harder (more frustrating) than Floor 5 in my opinion, but each floor had different patterns and puzzles.
Loved the characters (Noah my beloved), and learning more about them through their memories. Character and boss designs are my favorite. Kinda wish there was a little more dialogue on different floors between the characters and the creature, flavor text outside of the quests. Music is really good, Boss 4 probably had my fav track.
Translation is a little lacking but the tone of it is good. Some text boxes went outside the screen. Some minor glitches here and there but nothing actually game breaking.
Overall I really liked it, love the take on Frankenstein, I would recommend but do wish it was just a little less janky.

I really, really did want to enjoy this game. I've been following it for years now and had super high hopes. But, sadly, I most of them were not met.
The pacing and character development in the EA was much better than it is now. This game is also fairly buggy. To my understanding, a subquest is IMPOSSIBLE due to a bug at the moment. If you're not an expert at bullet hell, prepare to struggle against even minor fights.
That's not to say everything is bad. I don't hate this game. The music, art, and characters are generally pretty great. The later arcs really shine. But I wish we'd gotten the full version of the EA, not what we have now.

A very unique take on Frankenstein, made for those unfamiliar with the source material. Frankenstein's [strike] very handsome [/strike] Monster explores a tower to regain lost memories and find why he exists. Currently the first two floors/chapters are released.
+ Interesting narrative built around the original story
+ Well rounded and varied characters
+ Bullet hell segments that are just on the right side of challenging
+ Very pretty visuals.
+ World feels fleshed out with lots of little details that make it feel lived it.
[strike] +++ Handsome Sad Monster Boy [/strike]
- Art style means dodging bullets can be a bit fuzzy.
- RPGmaker style puzzles can get repetitive, especially when backtracking.
- Some might find the cute anime style a bit at odds with the story.
- No option to give Creature a badly needed hug.
In early access so expect a few bugs. Nothing gamebreaking encountered as yet. To prevent loss of players to frustration I would recommend the devs implement some sort of mid-fight healing, or just a wuss mode selectable at new game where the PC's health is higher to give people who struggle with bullet hells the chance to experience the really interesting story themselves.

It's a wonderful and delightful looking game. I've played it when it was early access, and I'd say I had a nice experience. I think the art is wonderful, and I enjoy the vibes of these characters that you meet. The game in full release certainly has a different presentation, though. I think I preferred the slightly slower pace that was apparent in early access, however. But that's just me!
The idea of encounters mostly involving dodging bullet hells is also interesting. But without being able to see your hitbox, it quickly becomes frustrating because bullets *will* hit you when you think you'll graze them. Infact, most of the encounters so far have been frustrating. A way to heal or some other way to defend yourself would be nice.
I've seen a lot of people complain about the difficulty of the game, and I think I lean towards that sort of opinion. Perhaps having some sort of easy mode would be nice for people who wants to experience the story but are held back by their lack of being able to dodge bullets effectively.
The game now certainly feels different than it's early access version. I'm not entirely sure if it's for better or for worse, though. I enjoyed how the memories felt more.. 'important' in early access, being a direct part of story progression and all.
Despite the problems I have with the game, I still enjoy it! And I'd recommend giving it a look, especially if you're a patient kind of person.
Also, I'm adopting 701. She is my daughter now, I'm sorry devs.

Thy Creature is Mazm's own take on Frankenstein a.k.a the Modern Prometheus, you play as the Nameless Creature who ran away from the humans and come to the eerie tower for a reason (not gonna go into spoiler territory). The game is a mix of puzzles and bullet hell (battling creatures known as Nepes) as you explore the tower and it's secrets, so if you like those two then this game is up your alley. I love artwork of not just the characters (and trust me they are very good) but the environment and the Nepes (good god those look creeepy), atmosphere is solid, the music is very good especially the opening by Mili, and like how the story is progressing.
Keep in mind that at time of this review the game is in early access so it's gonna have some bugs and glitches here and there, but don't worry it'll get fixed over time. Overall I highly recommend this game. They worked very hard on this game and would appreciate the love.

Having played the entire two floors of early access as reference and now playing up to the first boss of full release, I can say that I cannot recommend the game anymore. I'm aware that early access is subject to change, but the differences are staggering. While the game is good visually, the atmosphere that was built during early access has been completely destroyed. Plot and pacing is completely torn apart, with interactions between characters feeling disconnected. Combat, which was both explained to some degree and more of a ramping difficulty, has now become a jump straight into bullet hell that I would have been furious about without prior experience. Sound design is by far the worse offender. Character dialogue is now accompanied by loud, obnoxious sound effects, and certain attacks like the fireworks are so much louder than the rest of the game.
I don't know what happened, but as it stands this feels like it was redesigned to be a mobile game in regards to level quality, and I honestly wish I hadn't bought it in early access because my expectations were absolutely devestated.
