I'll admit I was avoiding this game because the graphics didn't really suit me but it is actually a really fun, decently challenging game. There isn't much for game play outside of the main campaign and you can easily finish the game in 10-15 hours assuming you don't spend as much time as me restarting/ or redoing the existing hotel that is already built. None the less this is definitely worth it!

Hotel Architect is a solid management game that hits that sweet spot between creative design and strategic planning. You get to build your own hotel from the ground up (sandbox mode) along with scenarios on each city to be able to unlock stuff. You also get to manage rooms, guests, staff, and upgrades. It's satisfying to watch the hotel grow and run smoothly.
If you enjoy games like Two Point Hospital or SimCity, this one scratches a similar itch. The learning curve is manageable and there's a great loop of improving efficiency while expanding your business.

This is such a fun and extremely addictive, well polished, early access game that kept me very happy for 65+ hours. Super hyped for the next hotel location to open which according to the road-map is New York on the 26th of June 25. I'm going to play the hell out of New York when it unlocks. Further new FREE locations, "Las Vegas" are also coming soon. You can tell this game was made with love and passion by the devs which is very evident from their ongoing updates and regular communication.
The price for this gem of a game is ridiculously low, like seriously, it's extremely generous for the amount of fun you will have playing if you're a fan of this genre. I'd be more than happy to pay for new DLC locations in the future. I can't remember even one bug while playing which you'd expect at least a few during early access. There probably are some but I didn't notice any, certainly nothing ruined my game time. The game runs smooth as can be. I'm so impressed with the overall experience. Long may Hotel Architect prosper.

fun game, very relaxing. A little to hand holdy for me at times. I would love to see bigger plots for a nice sized hotel. It feels cramped as is. Also would love to see swimming pools. I don't actually stay at hotels that don't have an indoor pool so for me to build one without a pool seems silly.
Game turned out to be pretty short and a bit easy. Also it doesn't say it anywhere but they mean this to be a tiny hotel game with small everything cramped up and a bit annoying. I thought I would be able to make giant hotels but nope. It's very limited in size. Needs to be renamed to tiny hotel architect, as this would have effected my decision to buy. Still in EA so things can change but the first 5 scenarios are tiny hotels

Its a fun AND well made game you can put a couple hours into, however be aware it can be a bit restrictive. For instance the first level in the game only allows you to use 2 floors and it has a rather small footprint considering everything you need to fit in the hotel. This results in some of the unlocks becoming a bit frustrating to unlock. I know there's upgrades that make utilizing floor space more efficient, but maybe allow upgrades that increase the floor limit or even let us go crazy with what we want to do in the "sandbox" mode. Along with that, the only difference between the scenarios and sandbox is in scenarios build most of the hotels for you and act more like a tutorial which is required to progress. Not a bad tutorial by any means, but sometimes i just wanna hop into a game and struggle. No option to play later levels either without progression into the scenarios either, which made the game drag a little bit. Either way a calm and fun game that any management nut like myself would enjoy, but its clear the devs have plenty to work on. Would recommend, although waiting a while to buy so some updates fix what I and others have commented about wouldn't be a bad plan.
TLDR: restrictive game, fun idea and high quality foundation.
