Only played single player, but really enjoying this. Its fun, the combat isn't difficult, you don't tend to get jump-scared (main reason why I don't like majority of zombie games). The best bit is exploring, finding all the hidden sections - several times I've passed through a POI I've seen before, only to find that I missed a chest the first time round. It took me about 12 hours to complete the game so far, another 3 to get the remaining achievements, and then I started over, and have been taking it slow. Absolutely recommend if you're looking for a chill survival crafting experience.

It is a fun game to play with your friends, a little grindy at times but that is part of the game.

I've only played the first region so far (what has been available in Early Access), but it's been a really fun experience, especially with friends! Playing three-player co-op has been enjoyable, and higher difficulties has made for a decent (but not overly difficult) challenge. Looking forward to exploring more regions as they become available!

Game is pretty good, has a few annoying bugs but has a solid foundation. Also has a lot of potential

OK, first impression of this game was that it looked like a cool concept and would be fun with friends. Wasn't going to tell my mates to buy until I was sure. Combat and movement: After a short look at the game by playing it I can without a doubt say that the combat is horrifically boring. Like I cannot stress how uninteresting it is. Secondly you have no stamina bar so you can sprint endlessly, jump constantly and swing your weapon without even thinking. Thirdly the bow has no ammo system and can 3 shot zombies if you aim for the head making it boring to use, why have head shots be required for the bow to be useful? you cant block with it and you have to try and kite the zombies and head shot them 3 times, Just add ammo and make it do more damage it feels so redundant to even have the bow exist. Also the zombies aggro range is so small like I was so close right in its line of sight and it just looked at me and moved away. I put the zombies on the hardest difficulty and increased the spawns to max and the poi's that I did we a breeze with the first weapon I got, a wood club. I can stun and hit 4 zombies at a time using it and it only takes like 4 swings. Also the time between the zombie attacks is WAY to long, like bro swings his arm once and needs a time out and a drink of water??? I didn't feel threatened at all by them just a hindrance which breeds monotony. Crafting: Search POI's for blueprints, OK fair enough, I got one for a saw can now make planks. Next POI. I personally feel like that could get really repetitive super fast especially because the loot in the chests are so boring wood, plant fibres, wood, apple & repeat, but maybe that's just me. The base building however I did not do much of felt nice to use and had a good menu so there are positives they are just drowning in the negatives for me ATM. Food?: The food system at the start of the game is honestly perplexing, 4 mushroom things and 2 apples makes a juice that is equivalent to eating 2 apples with 1 ten second break in between? Further to this point there is no hunger bar or water bar in a game literally names "Survival Machine" where is the survival??? Overall: I do not recommend this game in it current state unless you want a VERY easy "survival experience". I still think this game has potential, however there need to be big changes and a LOT of updates; the word "survival" is not really feeling accurate as it has so far been a walk in the park.

Survival Machine: Mad Max Meets IKEA So I hopped into Survival Machine expecting chaos, cannibals, and a healthy dose of DIY doom-wagon driving. What I got was… well, all of that, plus a lot of accidentally falling off moving vehicles because I forgot physics exists. The game drops you into a desert with a janky contraption that looks like it was assembled by a raccoon with commitment issues. You gather stuff, upgrade your ramshackle ride, and desperately try not to be eaten while fending off bandits who were apparently trained at the Stormtrooper Academy of Terrible Aim. Pros: Build your very own post-apocalyptic clunker. It's like Pimp My Ride but everyone’s starving. Cons: Sometimes your biggest enemy isn’t the horde, it’s gravity. Or your own crewmates pushing you off ledges like it’s an accident. The AI occasionally forgets it's supposed to help you, not haunt you with thousand-yard stares. Final take: It's clunky, chaotic, and kinda dumb, but like, the fun kind of dumb. If you enjoy games where half the challenge is just keeping your weird contraption from flipping over like a drunk turtle, Survival Machine might be your jam.
