Beautiful aesthetic, amazing sound design, interesting and funny story. I honestly feel bad seeing how much less attention this game received that the first Not Tonight, despite how much love and genuine improvement this game has made on its predecessor. I doubt we'll see a third game in this series, but thank you to everyone who worked on this game with care and passion, because it really shows.

Great expansion on the original game that introduces some fun new mechanics. Slightly ahead of its time in portraying the absolute shitshow of the political landscape. Hopefully real life never gets exactly to this point of satire, but who fucking knows!

I was sus with the mixed reviews of this game but trust if you loved Papers Please then you will love this game !! I loved the game, I loved how long it was, and all the features. The background, characters, and story is very engaging and I definitely recommend to anyone ! It is a little repetitive as you go on 3 stories of being a bouncer but still so engaging !!

I've completed the game - after playing the original Not Tonight, I was prepared to mostly be impressed by the pixel art as I was for the original. This is a paperwork simulator, which I do like... my biggest complaint about the original Not Tonight was that it struggled with difficulty scaling in terms of new mechanics, IMO. Not Tonight 2 totally corrects this. Essentially every location has a special extra with IDs and guestlists. You'll have to review and ID and, say, pump gas or shoot wizard out the sky or fry chickens. It's refreshing. The story in Not Tonight 2 is just as comprehensive as Not Tonight but the graphics and scope of the game is much larger, IMO. Very fun. If you're easily offended by political statements, this series isn't for you; both Not Tonight 1 and 2 involve heavy political satire about conservatives. Great work on addressing the weaknesses of the first game in this one. If you liked Not Tonight, you'll like this a little more IMO. You can also choose difficulties, so if you want something easier you can go easier, if you want something harder, go harder. Enjoy!

i was really looking forward to this sequel, and although its a great game, and there were many upgrades from the last! there were downgrades as well, i miss being able to go back into the building after shifts rather than skipping straight to more dialogue, don't get me wrong, the detailed pixel art is wonderful, but the way dialogue was handled in the first game was a lot more endearing (? i think that's the word i'm looking for) also not being able to put on multiple things at once, come on man :( i'm a little over halfway done with the story, but i can genuinely already tell that the first game had so much more care and emotion put into it, the characters were intriguing even if the main character was customize-able!! the side characters were memorable and there was never too much or too little going on. If you liked the first game just because it was fun, i WOULD recommend this, but if you enjoy games for their story and thought, maybe find something else :(
