Cats in Time – A Purrfect Puzzle Adventure Overall Rating: 8.5/10 Cats in Time is a charming, family-friendly puzzle game developed by Pine Studio that takes players on a delightful journey through time to rescue—you guessed it—adorable lost cats. It’s an experience that blends relaxing, brain-teasing challenges with beautifully crafted diorama-style levels, all wrapped in a cozy, whimsical aesthetic. Whether you're a seasoned puzzle fan or a casual gamer looking for something light and imaginative, Cats in Time has something to offer. Visual Design and Atmosphere: 8.5/10 The first thing that stands out about Cats in Time is its presentation. Each level is a miniature 3D scene representing a different historical era or location—from ancient Egypt to futuristic cities—and they're all bursting with color, detail, and personality. The environments are playful and inviting, making exploration both visually rewarding and emotionally soothing. The clean, intuitive UI complements the diorama-like scenes well, creating a polished and accessible experience. Puzzle Design and Gameplay: 8.5/10 Gameplay centers around finding cleverly hidden cats in each time-traveling location. These puzzles are tactile and logical, often requiring keen observation and interaction with objects in the scene. Rotating the environment, zooming in, and flipping switches all play a role in discovering the missing felines. While the difficulty skews toward the easy-to-moderate side, the puzzles are well-crafted and satisfying to solve. It’s more about relaxation than challenge, which works beautifully for its target audience. Sound Design and Music: 8/10 The ambient music is gentle and unobtrusive, fitting the game’s calm and playful tone. Sound effects are cute and subtle, adding satisfying feedback to your interactions without overwhelming the senses. It all contributes to a low-stress environment where players can take their time and enjoy the journey. Replayability and Value: 8/10 While the core mechanic is fairly straightforward, the game’s wide variety of settings, consistent updates, and hidden collectibles give it replay value. It’s the kind of game you can pick up for a few minutes, complete a level, and come back to later without losing your place. Conclusion: 8.5/10 Cats in Time is a lighthearted, beautifully designed puzzler that’s easy to love. With its blend of charming visuals, simple mechanics, and relaxing gameplay, it offers a peaceful escape that’s both family-friendly and surprisingly addictive. While hardcore puzzle veterans might crave more complexity, those looking for a cozy game to wind down with—or who simply love cats—will find this a delightful little gem.

cute puzzle game! Though definitely intended for mobile, this game works well with mouse (keyboard optional). Each level unfolds like a puzzle box as you find all the cats hidden about and behind admittedly simple puzzles. Not difficult, but makes up for it in charm.
