Very fun and easy-to-play game for 2-players -- we are six missions into the game and playing at Normal difficulty. I am not sure how it will scale with more players though. We also tend to load the ammo as quickly as possible with little regard for the enemy-fired ammo, so as to overwhelm the enemy through sheer ammo numbers. Through this approach, each mission takes us about 10 minutes to complete and thus is manageable time-wise.

7.9 out of 10 Very cute artstyle simple yet addictive gameplay mechanics would be more fun if we could mix n match the tanks component

I played this with my friends and it's much entertaining when you play it in multiplayer, being able to solve the challenge together with your friend is what this game are for, really good for team bonding. The game is easilly understood for all ages too.

I don't usually write reviews but I think it's sad this game seems so overlooked. ConnecTank's strongest suit is its charming and tongue-in-cheek personality. I can't help but crack a smile every time a character pops up on the screen or during mission briefings. The graphics are vibrant and lively, and the music complements this perfectly. Unfortunately the game falls a little short when it comes to the gameplay itself. There is a decent number of different tank layouts, a rock-paper-scissors relationship between diffent ammo 'families' to watch out for, and an ocean of different ammo types and tank mods, but in the end almost all battles can be won just by spamming bullets at the opponent. Nevertheless the game still gives you plenty of opportunities to yell at your friends for still now having fixed that conveyor belt and screwing up the ammo recipies while your Zorro-themed tank opponent blasts you with bullets shaped like swords and rapiers.

I usually don't write reviews but this game seems to have flown under a lot of folks' radars even though it deserves the attention, so here we go. WHAT IT IS An overcooked-style coop game where you shoot different types of ammo with a tank to defeat the enemy tank in a rock-scissors-paper style of combat. gameplay elements involve making ammo, managing conveyor belts and fighting off monsters. You also get to unlock and purchase many different uprgrades and ammo types. PROS - Tons of stuff to unlock: weapons, upgrades and tanks to try out, great replayability. - Easy to understand and quick gameplay loop. - Good couch coop experience - many missions to play CONS - Missions are a bit generic, to the point of they seem to be randomly generated. They aren't because the game keeps track of the ones you did already. - Campaign progression is not explained and I'm still not sure how it works. Basically, there are story missions you do for one of the 3 companies in the game, and they progress the story bar for the respective company, while decreasing the other 2. When you reach 100, the credits roll, but you can still play, and there are a lot of mission for that company you still haven't played. I'm not even sure the game has an "end" because it keeps offering missions again you've already cleared. This, along with the missions being very generic, gives the game a directionless feel. - Some gameplay systems are not explained at all. I've seen the credits with all 3 companies and I'm still not sure how the combo meter works - The game is fairly easy, so even though you have a lot of customisation in terms of weapons, mods, and you can do really OP combos, most of the time you don't even need to watch out for the enemy ammo. Overall, I really recommend it as a couch co-op experience if you are into overcooked, lovers in a dangerous spacetime or no heroes here. If you are playing alone, I'm not sure it's worth it because the gameplay is fairly simple and a bit underdeveloped.

I don't normally write reviews, but here i am. Posted a message on the discussion board about a control remapping not working devs responded pretty quickly and got on top of the update within the next day. On top of that, this game is great fun. If you like the whole concept behind no heroes here, this is similar, except you're a tank instead of a castle. And you can throw things. Give the demo a try, would recommend a controller, but keyboard and mouse is still pretty fun!
