Alright, got to the second part of the hotel... and.. got stuck. But, I'm not really a huge fan of puzzles, and less of precision platformers. I knew what I was getting into. And you know what? It's good. This is a good game. It's a pleasant platformer with some interesting puzzles. I dig the story, the graphics, and the gameplay mechanics. I just get to a point where I can't quite time the platforming or figure out the puzzle. And, instead of being stuck on it for hours I move on.
But I'd still recommend it.

Overall a very fun game. It is a bit lacking story-wise, but in general, it makes up for it with fun mechanics, and clever puzzles!

The game was originally from a game jam, after playing the full release and the game jam game I can tell there are almost no differences. This product is $7 for around an hour of playtime. The game jam version of this game has almost no differences except the last 40% of the game.
The game itself is really easy with the puzzles never giving an actual "ahaa" moment when you figure them out. Each room takes max around 2 minutes to figure out and usually consists of pushing a button then throwing a box and leaving the room.
Most of the puzzles can be cheesed from using your double jump and being able to control objects through walls. Multiple levels can be finished right away without needing to do a randomly complicated task.
There is almost no difficulty in a strange hotel, the only difficult parts come from some randomly placed spikes around a level that serve no purposes. The last half of the game is like the rest, but layed out in longer levels. In this part the game introduces an enemy that spawns forever, even when you kill it, and one shot kills you. The game becomes incredibly annoying trying to get past this enemy even once you have finished the puzzle making your try over and over again.
From playing the jam version of the game it looked like it could go somewhere, however the puzzles are bland, the game is boring, the story is boring and makes no sense, and the puzzles never get any difficult or introduce any new cool ideas.
If you have $7 you should go buy binding of Issac, Ori and the blind forest, or geometry dash instead.

Really interesting puzzle game with nice pixel art and music :) Really enjoyed playing and speedruning this game.

- The pixel art works really good with the music and it gives the game a nice atmosphere.
- The game is really polished. I haven't found any bugs or something game breaking.
- Really nice sound design :)
- Pretty fun game with extra levels (I hate those platformer levels it took me so long to complete them :)) ) and pretty challenging at some points.
𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐒
- The game is not worth the money in my opinion since for 5 euro a 1-2 hour long game is not really worth it
- Some of the puzzles were repetitive and not really hard. I think if the game had more complex puzzle it will take you longer to finish the whole game and the levels were to small (I mean the size of the room in almost all levels) maybe making some levels bigger and zooming out the camera would have been better since the player should have examined the whole room and it will have taken more time.
Anyway good game I just think is not worth 5 euro more like 2-3 euro but it is up to you if you want to buy it :) I think buying it on sale will be better but still I recommend this game :) Good job Em :)
