Never before have I ventured into such oppressive abyssal depths, where dread, wonder, and valour intertwine so masterfully that one emerges both shaken in spirit and thoroughly captivated.

A very good FPS exploration game. Graphics are not amazing, but good enough. The level design is good.
Two minor gripes, but to be clear I really like this game.
Cons:
The underwater diving suit parts are slow and boring. Not a lot of those, but a drag when you have to do them.
Getting item and action icons to pop up sometimes requires you to be positioned perfectly. Mildly annoying at times.

A Lovecraftian survival horror where resources are lacking and everything wants you dead. You go through abandoned research stations, fight all kinds of creatures and soldiers, while trying to save someone close. The atmosphere is thick and oppressive, sanity mechanics add to the dread, and the old-school shooting feels satisfying when you manage your limited ammo right. Sometimes stressful in a good way.

A solid throwback to the PS3/360 era of horror shooters, F.E.A.R. and Doom 3 vibes with a Lovecraftian coat of paint. The underwater research station setting carries a lot of the tension, with dark corridors making exploration genuinely uneasy. Combat is functional, it's good rather than exceptional. Pacing sags in the middle stretch and enemy variety could use more work. Still, there's real indie grit behind this one, and if you grew up on that generation of shooters there's enough here for some good hours of fun.

My performance review was scheduled for 4 PM and I was sure I was getting fired. Played this game during lunch to calm my nerves. Came back so focused and confident that I not only kept my job but got “Employee of the Month”. The boss said I looked like a different person. Thank you, game. You’re now part of my morning routine.

The atmosphere is easly the best part. Dark corridors, weird noises and disturbing things all around to keep the tension up most of the time. The shooting feels solid and enemies are smart enough to flank you, although sometimes the combat can get a bit repetitive.
The story starts simple but becomes increasingly strange, with random sanity effects and some nice creepy moments. There are also slower sections that drag a little, but nothing too serious.
It's not perfect and it doesn't really reinvent anything, but it's a solid action horror game with a lot of atmosphere.

Avoid if you want to play at more than 60 fps. The game is really cool but is plagued by a very bad constant stutter that occurs when you move forward and your refresh rate is high (mine is 165 hz). There is a fix someone posted where you use special K to turn on some unity engine physics work around. Said fix works for about 3-4 hours but at a particular fire fight it causes a bug where it gets really laggy and bullets stop doing damage to you and enemies. The fix also causes weird physics issues where you fall very slow and grenades dont go as far but it is still very playable (until 3-4 hours have passed). Very sad since the game is so cool, but I will be unable to finish it. I could play it at 60 fps but that has become jarringly slow for me nowadays (yes first world problems).

20 € ist alot to ask for a game full of bugs, bullet sponge enemies, samey leveldesign and terrible pacing. it truly feels like it was designed to waste as much time as possible, you could cut roghly 40 % of the game out and it would actually flow better. it has at least servicable gunplay (the bare minimum), other than that there is literally nothing worth of value at least for full price. Get it at a deep discount if you are truly interested or want to support the dev.
