A cool, quick chess game with a neat visual scheme and soundtrack. AI is competent enough to keep it interesting and quick enough to keep the games going.

Loved this new theme!! I`m really liking the experience of playing all the chess series and improving my chess skills :)

It has inverted difficulties, it crashes a lot, and it doesn't even play well.

Another state of art game from Minimol. This one dives into the Nordic culture as a charm. Great visual and sound effects. I recommend

Another addition to the collection of classic chess games in beautiful theme settings. Nice atmosphere and soundtrack. I wish there were physical versions of the sets too, they are great.

Standard chess game. Boards are in the areas from Chess Knights: Viking Lands. To unlock better sets and play areas you have to complete a certain number of games. Decent enough.

Enjoyable chess game with the Vikings theme. Your strength doesn't matter here though...novice AI showed me how terrible chess player I'm. Gameplay preview --> https://youtu.be/6S-nNkmtVcc

So, every time I would checkmate the AI, the game would crash. Due to the fact that most of the other reviews also have low playtime, I am assuming it is either a new glitch or they didn't play long enough to run into it.

Steam achievements don't unlock, game is ridiculously easy even on the hardest setting, there's no movelist displayed, it's just...bad. There are a lot of free chess products better than this.

The game doesn't remember my settings when I start a new game, for starters. It's annoying to have to continuously change the settings that seem to reset back to default every time I start a new game. Also, there seems to be some bugs around being put in check; 1) I was in check from a bishop, and the game allowed me to move my King to a spot where I was in check by the queen, because that was the only empty square my king could move to. And when I made the move, even though I was clearly in check by the queen, the game continued as if there were no issue. 2) To be fair, I'm not sure if this is a bug, or if the developers used some strange set of rules I'm not aware of, but if you are in check, the game doesn't seem to allow the player to use other pieces to get out of check if the options are available. So, in the example from above, I could have taken the bishop with a pawn to get out of check, but the game didn't allow me to do so... I had to move the king, but as I said, the only option was to move the king to a spot where I was still in check, which makes me think it's a bug. Lastly, the 'novice' difficulty is a lot harder than any other chess game I've tried, and I've tried a few. I'm not a really great chess player, or anything, but I've been a casual player for about 25(ish) years and I haven't managed to win a single match, even on the easiest difficulty setting. For comparison, with most other chess games I've tried, if I play on the easiest difficulty setting, I rarely ever lose a match. If I play on the hardest difficulty setting, things are more challenging, but I can still win matches. I haven't won a single match in this game, even playing on the easiest setting.
