This is seriously so much fun. The bosses are challenging, the teleportation is fun and keeps you on your toes, and moving between the three islands makes it super stressful. DEFINITELY worth it if you have a friend to play with.

Friend and I bought this on a whim while sorting games by "recently published", and we were pleasantly surprised at how good it actually was. We beat wave 10 with one heart left and let me tell you we popped off so hard. Was genuinely challenging and the gameplay felt good and rewarding. I don't know how to describe it, but the healing stone just felt so good to use? Only real gripe is a lack of variety among enemies and such, but even then I noticed that some of the bosses had different AIs and the basic enemies seemed to speed up and had more health as the waves went on. Plus, it's early access, so not a big deal. Giving the bosses names like that was such a good idea by the way, just because it ended in us yelling out these random names in a panic. "SIMONE ON ME, HALF HEALTH". Overall, though, a very pleasant surprise that we'll be keeping up with for sure.
