It looks like Earth Marines is developer HugePixel's first foray into top-down shooters, and unfortunately, it shows.
Although I liked the graphical style of the game, the shooting didn't feel particularly good, and the objectives are kind of pitiful. Destroy the barrels? Kill all the zombies? Destroy all the little green slimes? In some ways, the game feels more like an arena shooter.
Close to this price point, I might recommend [b]Red Hot Vengeance[/b], [b]Redie[/b], [b]Operation Thunder[/b], or [b]Superstatic[/b].
