100%ed under 10 hours. Quite fun game. More of puzzle game than a city builder which actually a better formula. For a comparison, it does not have Against the Storm level of fun (my benchmark for a good city builder game) - it kinda scratches the same part of my brain tho.
My majority of enjoyments comes from appreciating the assets of the game than the formula and ho boy, it's beautiful. When you finally fulfill them mini objectives, you are rewarded with them subtle yet addictive feedback of natures phenomenon. Sure having animal packs have maximum happiness is a thing but it felt like a chore sometimes. But seeing you rejuvenate the ecosystem so the salmon can thrives, the jellyfish spawns, the birds fly again, fucking aurora borealis - these are the places where the dopamine hides.
It's rather short but each map is tailored very delicately.
There is some replayability maybe but personally, I think I only stick to replaying certain maps to unlock certain achievements (it's like replaying a map but with harder challenge that requires you to actually plan what to build, in what order etc etc).
A great game overall. A rather chill game packing quite difficulty bumps every once in a while.

This is a great puzzle game. It's relatively short, I got 100% of the achievements in 12 hours and it wasn't difficult to do so. I love how they have different difficulties so the game can be as easy or hard as you want. It's a great game to chill out after an annoying work day for sure. I got it on sale and it was worth every penny. :)

This is borderline for me. The first impression of just having to place buildings that have ranges and try to hit everything was pretty negative, but animals change that. It turned into a very easy and cozy game until I hit the first ice map, where I realized I could get easily stuck because you cannot remove rocks you created, can run out of lava and power, and can fail to create enough tundra based on earlier decisions. This could give one analysis paralysis early in the game, but it also just clashes with the cozy atmosphere the game put forth from the start.
The somewhat artificial difference between the level a river is at and a lower plateau is also just a bit strange, once you get the ability to pick up earth but then find out you can't plant anything there.
It's still decent, but can't _fully_ recommend it.

100% Review. I really enjoyed this simple and peaceful paced game. It was fun to think about the steps you would need to take to complete each level fully, without trapping yourself in the early game. The visuals and music are wonderful and contribute to the overall feel. While this game doesn't take too long to complete right now, there is the groundwork for more areas and new challenges in the future. I look forward to revisiting when that does happen. Would recommend you try it out if you enjoy minor puzzles, pretty graphics, and unique mechanics in this rebuilding the worlds ecology simulator.

This game is so unique and satisfying. I haven't found another quite like it. I just wish there were more levels; I'd even buy a DLC! However, I will mention that it froze many times for me. It can get slow when a lot of things are happening at once, like raining or snowing, foliage growing back, or rocks forming. It can be replayed, since the level maps are generated different each time, but the concept/puzzle is the same so it won't be as challenging. Either way, it's a yes for me.

My worth guide for games is if I get an hour of play time (not including replay ability) for every dollar spent. Got this on sale for $12.49 and finished the game 100% at 15.2hrs. Worth the purchase.
Excellent game, beautiful. Some of the maps are difficult (Volcanoes), but I certainly enjoyed the island maps the most. My two favorite maps were actually unlocked after the official completion of the game, which I found odd.
Certainly has some replay ability. The maps have its basic design, but you are able to input different x:y: codes to randomly generate a map.
On the guide book and atmosphere goals:
I tend to skip over dialog (bad habit from jrpgs), but its 100% necessary to read the guide book as you work each map. It'll provide context clues on how to solve the map. Also, I would suggest working toward atmosphere goals before finishing step two. Some of the regions progress quickly once in step three and you'll lose the ability to finish the optional atmosphere goals.
Loving the sounds, the atmosphere, and what the game represents. If only it was this easy (and fun) to fix the mess we've made!

Love this game. It's a puzzle and there's cute, (mostly) happy animals and you leave each world better off than you found it. I wish more games were like this.

I started this game because the first few levels were pretty straight forward and didn't have to think too hard. But after I realized there are missions like achieving mini goals, and achieving maximum operation of the biome and animals, I loved the game even more. As the game progresses, the levels turn more into a puzzle in order to achieve all goals. End goal is reconquering and reaching environmental remediation. The art is beautiful, music is peaceful, and sfx provide a even more inclusive game engagement.
