The game is so cute and polished! And this kitten is so cute ฅ ^ • ﻌ • ^ ฅ
However, I'm not getting past stage 5.
I will report better at the community center.
I find that if I press the windows button (❖) the box unlocks.

A great sokoban game that can give a really good challenge in the later levels. The "Islands" in this game refers to the micro scale puzzles that are separated by level height and distance, requiring strategic use of platforms and rafts to traverse. This is quite a clever setup, as (in my opinion) the best sokoban puzzles are those in tight, restricted environments, giving the player enough logical space to reverse engineer the solution from the ending positions.
A minor annoyance with this game is the inability to recall the last couple of moves. Because of the physics of this game, blocks can be pushed off the island to drop them to a lower level. Often, this is used to great effect by considering where is the best place to drop a block to accomplish the goals of the puzzle on a different level. The problem, however, is that sometimes you can accidentally push the block off when you don't intend to, or even push it off the puzzle map altogether and into the water, forcing a complete restart of the stage. At this point, the multi-puzzle nature of each stage works against itself, as you now have to redo all the previously accomplished puzzles in the same stage to get back to where you left off.
Accidentally pushing blocks into the wrong place or off into the water can occur regularly due to the rotating camera. Oftentimes you will need to pan around the puzzle to see the different levels and trigger points. At diagonal viewpoints though, the control gets a bit iffy, and "forward" is no longer necessarily the same button (All this could have been solved by using the number pad keys, allowing 8 directions of movement that would have made it very clear what direction you were moving).
There's also the odd bit where the game causes my laptop to really heat up. I'm not sure what computations the game is running, but it really should not be heating up as much as a graphics heavy FPS or RTS game.
All that said, Sokocat Islands has some great puzzles inside, and I've enjoyed my time playing them. Highly recommended!

I'm never playing a Sokoban without a undo/rewind mechanic again.
Also the diagonal camera angle doesn't take diagonal inputs? wtf.

Fun, little, block pushing puzzle game. Very cute graphics. Had a decent amount of really challenging puzzles(at least for me).
There's a help system that will show you how to get through each level, in case you get stuck(or just want to play for the achievements, I guess), and I had to use it twice for hints, and twice when I got really stuck.
Would definitely recommend!
100% in about 9 hours. (Doable in less than an hour using the help function, but I don't see why you'd play this in the first place then.)

Its a simple, but solid game with a good challenge.
Has a relaxing vibe, but with only one music for all the levels, it can become a little monotonous when stuck in a level after several retries.
One thing the game is missing is a undo last move button. Even if it was a limited resource, like once per level, it would be helpfull for the clumsy players like me who whants to move to one direction but press the wrong button.

A decent Sokoban game. The puzzles started off easy but got challenging. The ability to change camera angle is useful and effective for the 3D puzzle elements. I like playing as a kitty cat and the music is relaxing (though eventually a little repetitive). I've completed 40 of the 50 puzzles so far, in about 4 hours of play.
The only 'bug' I have encountered is that each time I restart the game, it wants to toggle itself to fullscreen (I prefer playing in a window), so I toggle the setting each time I play.
Seems to me a solid sokoban, worth the price for a few good hours of gameplay.

This is a really cute and beautiful puzzle game. Basically you need to complete each puzzle to unlock all the achievements and complete the game.
Visually the game is simple, but so beautiful and cute. All of the islands differ and the puzzles become more difficult as you get closer to the end. Every load page has this cute face on it, which makes it even more special.
The sound and music is nice and relaxing, however I did put off the music after a while.
Overall if you like puzzle games, you would definitely like this game. It takes just over an hour to 100%. Best part is, if you struggle with a level, then you can press H to help you complete that level.

adorable sokoban game featuring an enterprising kitty who just wants to push boxes around. i'm not terribly good with these sorts of puzzles so i was stumped within the first twenty levels, but the dev added a hint button so you can work out how it finishes if you need it to, which is much appreciated.

This is a really enjoyable family-friendly Soko style puzzle game that can be both fun to solve in the earlier levels and progressing in complexity in the upper levels, especially beyond Island 40. Some of the islands are truly mind-bending and challenging to work through, exercising your mind multiple moves into the future. Kudos to the developer for Update 1.0.5 with the "Ghost Cat"...I tried it out for a portion of an island (I'm a purist on puzzle games if I can help it) just to see how it worked and it was fantastic...you can turn it off before it finishes the level if all you need is a hint on your next move...this is a great idea for puzzle games and would like to see other developers implement this instead of having to watch videos for help on stuck puzzles. Great game and thanks for developing it to you and your team! Hope to see more levels in the future maybe as DLC...
