This is the supposed sequel to The Expression Amrilato, Rin ends up back in the Juliamo land. Which is weird... Decent game though. Suggest getting both.

Excellent addendum to The Expression Amrilato, wonderfully expanding on the narrative's past and present, depth and adorability equally balanced, with welcome hints of darker elements that I can only pray will be explored further in the future planned sequel. If you enjoyed the setting and characters from its predecessor, reading through this one is an absolute no brainer/equivocal yes.

I just glad Manga Gamer decide to pick up and translate the sequel. ( I have been waiting for a long time )
Personally I love everything about this game, from stunning beautiful arts, characters personality - relationship, to the approach of teaching a new language is very interesting. Of course, there is one tiny minor text bug I would like to point out as I read it thoughtfully from start to finish. It can be found in "Days gone by" where Rin talk with Rei in the park.
Aside from aIl the good point I highly praise above, I kinda miss the lesson / test which the previous game ''The expression Amrilato'' had to offer ( At least in this sequel we got to learn the name of many ingredients in cooking;;; ) .
As usual the pace in game feel off a bit, but no matter, the story still successful deliver a sweet love story between girls.
Great game, I say.

It ran fine. You'll need to stick with the touch screen or mouse controls.
It was a great sequel to the first game if you can get past the halfway point. The first half didn't make a lot of sense to me, but I'm glad it ended where it did. The peak into Rei and Ruka's past was interesting as well. It makes me want to know more about Rei's story.

Was, very good! ^_^
More Amrilato, which is fantastic. This time the focus isn't so much on learning the language, but it still asks you to make some effort in understanding what the characters are saying, especially in a particularly long and grueling but very interesting sequence.
It delves deeper into the side characters from the previous game while also offering an even more satisfying ending for the main characters. If you liked The Expression Amrilato, don't miss this.
Also, Ruka's cuteness is off the charts this time around! Brace yourselves! X_X

The game is about half the playtime of the first, and is without any of the practice games. The Story picks up after the first game with the ending where Rin stays.
Note: There is an additional story after the game is finished. Click new game and pick Days gone by.

Play the first game before starting this. It's good, dives a lot more into the struggles faced by the characters. Was hoping main game would be longer, expand more from the ending(s). Epilogue is appreciated though.

There are no longer vocabulary lessons, study sessions and baby steps explanations like the previous title. Which is unfortunate. You jump straight into a dramatic plot with 90% Juliamo, which can be challenging to follow so remember to enable translation in the settings.
I can relate well to Rin's frustration at the language barrier, which had an interesting portrayal. If you don't understand Esperanto and disabled translation like I did, you will have to guess what the speaker meant, tolerate not being able to fully understand then move on all the while still trying to understand and follow the events of the game. By then, the experience and struggle of being thrown into a world that speaks a language you don't speak is quite realistic.
As a sequel of 'The Expression of Amrilato', if the previous title wasn't your cup of tea, this one won't be.

A wonderful addition to the first VN.
It's a bit jarring at first because the "Days ahead" chapter is based on an ending that is similar..but not quite the same as.. the "bad ending" of the first VN. As soon as you get a handle on that, it's basically just as good and really fleshes out its characters even more. Rin continues to be one of my favorite protagonists, her struggles with anxiety really speak to me.
The "Days gone by" chapter is similarly wonderful, and focuses on Rei's experiences from the past taking care of a young Ruka. There are parts of this story that are really gut wrenchingly sad and I can't stop thinking about them.
This isn't a grand sequel or anything, both chapters are about 2 hours or less, but it doesn't really need to be longer.
A side note, don't be thrown off by the description "subtle love-like" feelings in the steam description....these feelings are not subtle at all. This is a yuri story, 100%.
