I played this game a ton during my childhood, but only decided to try to fully complete it just now! I haven't played any of the other 7 Wonders games, but it isn't needed to enjoy 7 Wonders II. Having played lots of other match-3 games previously, I bull-dozed through this game but still had a ton of fun.
7 Wonders II a super simple and short game that's fun to put on to wind down to. The mechanics are pretty satisfying and unlike some others, I love the link between your progression and the amount of building materials you collect while playing. The art style is cute, the gems have interesting designs, and the OST honestly slaps a ton!
If you're looking for a relaxing and possibly nostalgic title, you can't really go wrong with this game. There's probably better match-3 games out there, but for 10 dollars it's hard to really put too much against 7 Wonders.
