How do I describe this game, well it all started with me wish listing it. Had I know the foolish mistake I had made, maybe I could have that 50 minutes back. I genuinely want to meet the creators, if for nothing else, discover what level of insanity that contain.
2/10 I wish I hadn't.

A very interesting game about urban legends and what are the right things to do sometimes. It has three endings and even though it is pretty repetetive it still is pretty cool and well made. I can recommend it

As the current World Record holder for the fastest clear of Forklift Load, I'm obviously a big fan of KIMIDORI SOFT's games. Food Delivery Service is an excellent addition to their portfolio!
You play as a delivery person for Urban Eats in the town of Nodairo-cho. The basic gameplay loop is simple: you pick up food at a restaurant, you deliver it quickly to the client, and you get paid. Not everything is at it seems in Nodairo-cho, though...
The story was quite enjoyable, and the ending actually subverted my expectations! The translation is a bit rough, but the game is still perfectly readable in English. For 3 bucks, it's definitely worth adding to your library!
PS: If KIMIDORI is reading this, please know that I love your games!

This is a short kinetic visual novel with looooong sections of food delivery inside one single town block with literally one main road and couple side roads. The streets are empty, the driving model is barely there, the motion blur is headache inducing (and there are no settings).

Food Delivery Service has promise, but does not yet feel like a proper game.
The story is interesting but that is about all it has. The play is fair to middling for a game of this price and the story means you'll endure that quality of play for longer than you want to.

[*]If you have enjoyed other Kimidori games you will likely enjoy this game, but be aware that it is less polished
[*]If you have not played a Kimidori game, hold off on this one and play Forklift Load or Lost Egg as they are enjoyable and far more complete game experiences.

The repetition is part of the game. but it becomes rather boring doing the same thing over and over waiting for a choice to come up.
The delivery does not have enough gameplay to be enjoyable over and over, and the map is too small for replays to be an 'enjoying the scenery' experience. Perhaps the 2nd week onward could time-skip so that only the jobs with information and choice are played. Or, as others have suggested add variety or skill to the deliveries.
Kimidori Soft has been prompt with bug fixes for this game.

i hate to be an asshole about a game that's clearly amateur but it's really not a great or even good experience. don't get me wrong--it's super cute and charming by concept alone, at first. i mean, it's a game about being an ubereats delivery bicyclist. and the environment's a cute little japanese sector. the problem just arises from the fact that there's no real timer/fail state to delivering and zero obstacles (and zero... anything. no cars or pedestrians or stray dogs) that could block your path. so it becomes a monotonous trudge.
the game bolsters multiple endings, but what that really means is the game pulls a fast one on you and asks you to relive a chunk of tedium again to do a slightly different decision that, reasonably, you wouldn't even do. great. there was also a part where i was asked to save a kitty with a ladder, but every time i tried to pick up the ladder, it'd just drop to my feet clumsily.
anyway, i appreciate getting a produce out and having some sort of vision. but you've really got to push the whole "game" aspect, you know?
