Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD Reviews

Well, I was able to play and achieve Platinum on PS3 and PSVita. Never had the original Xbox, so I'm not an old time fan of the game. I still love Stranger's Wrath, it's environment, the amazing soundtrack and the plot, which is the best I've played at that time. The steam version was the last I've decided to try myself. I've learned too late that steam version has its achievements completely glitched tho. I'd say if you're looking to complete the trophies, you have to take into account those glitches, which persist till this day. My only complain about Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath on steam is that: glitchy achievements, and that's that. I love the Oddworld franchise and would never believe that Stranger's Wrath would become my favorite after all these years.

Always loved the Oddworld aesthetic, especially the creature / character designs. But Stranger's Wrath is also the most enjoyable Oddworld game to actually play, making it my favorite entry in the series by far. Still eagerly awaiting the last few entries in the quintology, or even an Oddworld movie, but for now replaying Wrath again for the fourth or fifth time will have to do.

i loved this game when it came out on the original xbox. and it was great to play again. controls are ok for a PC port of a game this old. graphics are good. it rely holds up for its age. i would even recommend getting the oddword bundle for 12.99euro as all the games on it are worth the price.(keep in mind this franchise is very nostalgic for me so if you have never played them i cant say you'll like it for sure)

Fun game to play, especially for platform/adventure type with wild west theme in it. Love the character design, gruesome, weird, unique.

I played this decades ago, bought it again here and played it once more. It's an incredibly fun title, absolutely worth the price and I was so happy to see it held up still. If you want something goofy, with solid shooter mechanics and a distinctive identity and style: play this game.
