I cannot recommend this game. For some reason it loads up Steam VR. While I do own a VR head set, no where in the requirements or the description does it say it is for VR. When I move my mouse over a menu item, it does not show as selected. I have to move my mouse to a different menu item, or off screen to select that menu item. When looking at my Journal, I cannot close the journal. I had to force quit the game, and then go back in, starting all over. There is an in game tutorial that tells you 3 different ways to jump, but as I cannot use the mouse to close that screen, The in game tutorial shows on my screen, and makes it difficult to see what I am doing. I cannot adjust the resolution of the game, since it does not recognize the mouse in game. After force closing the game the second time, and going back in, I just learned how to open cabinets. While this game seems fun, it is poorly made as far as the mouse usage goes. I should be able to hit Escape to close a menu, but that was not built in. You HAVE to use the mouse.

ENG: A weird first-person puzzle platformer where we are a cat, at times it tries to be silly yet it looks a bit sinister, some of its puzzles are very difficult. They lowered the price and now it's quite cheap. ESP: Un raro puzzle plataformero en primera persona donde somos gato solo en casa, por momentos trata de ser gracioso pero luce algo siniestro, algunos de los puzzles son muy jodidos. Le bajaron el precio y quedo barato.

This is an "Escape Room" genre game mixed with that infamous "Cat Simulator" game. There's not much of a story to discover except a shocking twist perhaps but I wouldn't call that a "story". The controls are clumsy, there's a lot of unnecessary button mapping and functions making things worse than it should. Everything else is actually just a first person view platformer with half a cat head mounted to the screen. The cat you control is not very agile and acts just like how a 1st person platformer will act. So don't expect much of a kitty agility here or you will surely be disappointed. The puzzles are pretty challenging to be honest (which made this a pretty worthy game for puzzle lover) but they are made even harder by the clumsy controls which can cause frustration. If you are going to play this game, it's advised to check out the control mappings before you play and stick to KB/M because playing this on a controller is chaotic and nauseating due to bad optimization. In short, if you are a fan of "Escape Room" genre, you will love this game, if you are here for a good "cat simulator" or a good story, it's best recommended to play "Stray" instead. And speaking of which, it's ironic how Stray is only half the size of this game and have far far more contents and story to tell (not to mention smoother game play and the cat protagonist acts like how a cat should act), that just shows how bad the optimization is in this game in compare...

Simple yet peculiar, this game made me appreciate my wonderful real cat even more than before because she's nowhere near as a$$holey as the creature you play in this game. I'm not sure Jackson Galaxy would agree with me but it feels like the cat in this game is way past becoming a well-behaved cat because all it ever does is nag about how it should be worshiped by her food dispenser human slave. Since the food tray is empty and the human is nowhere to be found, the cat goes on a journey to find them at any cost smashing over 400 ceramic and glass objects along the way and solving quite complicated puzzles. Catsperience is pretty short and takes place inside a single house. Overall it's fun but the controls can be very clumsy, especially when you have to jump high on some cupboard. With some trial an error though one can get the hang of the mechanics and they're not a big problem. What's a shame though is the cat is pretty slow and gets exhausted very quickly which is weird considering it's not even that fat a cat. Sprint jump three times and you need to catch your breath. My home cat is a marathon runner compared to Catsperience lol. There are also glitches with picking up items - I once had to start over because I had dropped a door key I had carried and it had fallen through the wall. In any case I think I had fun but that's probably because I like cats and it's the first time I'm seeing a game where you get to be one. For cat haters though this won't be a pleasant game because it will probably make them hate cats even more. And now excuse me while I go pet my little rascal.

It is fairly fun. Breaking jars and things is actually pretty great. The POV is super weird, like riding on a cat's head weird. First person parkour is difficult to get right and this game doesn't really get it right. The puzzles are not terrible. Overall, there are worse ways to spend your $10 USD. :D https://youtu.be/VERUxHD_ksk
