This days are hard to find Zorro games. This game is fun to play, nothing serious is happening. A great game to go through on an empty afternoon. I love it!

Zoro is a subversive masterpiece. Not only does it build upon the arkham combat, but it also redefines open worlds. Gameplay gushing aside, I have never connected more with a story before playing Zoro The Chronicles. I was not exaggerating when opening with "subversive masterpiece" as it goes places I never thought was possible with a superhero. Marvel should be a shame they lack half the creativity Zoro gives in only one level. The voice acting really sells the emotions going threw the character's head. No word is needed to even tell the story, you can feel the beats instinctively as it connects so deeply with the soul. I also appreciate the hard political stances regarding modern political debates of a post covid world. I truly believe this game will stand as one of the greats, defining the next generation of games as ZORO-likes for years to come. Thank you for such a profound 24h campaign

I've never thought that I would see a game from this series which was a really nice surprise. The combat system is really fun, the musics are just great and the atmosphere aside from some bugs looks good. One thing I need to mention, the hard mode was a dissapointment, but the last boss fight was tought thou.

Quite amusing. Thanks to a plethora of animations for finishers, dodges, super K.O.s, environmental K.O.s, etc. Also to energetic combat and silly stealth actions, all served by an energising music. The levels are pretty cool as well. varied, open and spread out. There's no story line, which I'm fine with; only a (non-linear) succession of missions with a simple intro and objective. Quite easy. It's clearly intended for kids in terms of tone and challenge. The AI is rudimentary, but it does the job. There are skills to buy for progression, which you could ignore if you needed more difficulty. There are also bonus challenges and posters to find in each mission, which can be trickier. The game crashes from time to time. This was a minor issue until level 13, which kept crashing constantly, at least 50 times, making progression tedious at each step. It gave me plenty of time to enjoy, on each relaunch, the 7 unskippable logos of all the studios that didn't bother with quality control. The next level started even worse, freezing the PC completely. Ah, and there are no visual settings whatsoever, nor any config file that I could find. After several reboots, I almost gave up and thumbed down. However, cancelling the mission and selecting another one fixed the issue; you could try that if something similar happens to you. Anyway, since I was finally able to continue kicking butts in style, I revert to my initial impulse and recommend as a joyful romp.
This game mixes the new edition of Zorro with the old TV series that I watched as a child, and it's very well done.

Gameplay:
Use of scenery in the fights, accumulation of combos that end up in sometimes very fun animations. I love it, the devs have managed to respect the original Zorro atmosphere, provoking and fighting clumsy guys who don't stand a chance of winning. Justice is restored. The end of each mission ends with a big crisis of the badass. Sergeant Garcia is very much missed in this game, but that's precisely because of the mix of eras. We can play with Zorro, but also with a lovely Zorrita, and you know how much I love pretty little Latinas. Ay Mamacita!
Graphic design:
A colorful, cartoonish style that's perfectly executed. The maps are beautiful, even if the buildings look very similar, and the scenery is often the same, but the gameplay is very fast and fluid.
Playtime:
Finishing the game at 100% isn't too repetitive, I rarely do it the first time, usually coming back several months later to finish it all, but this game never bored me and I finished it in about twenty hours. Very enjoyable.
Price:
The price is very respectable for the work that has been put in by the devs.
Zorro arrived and I hope he'll be back soon. This was a fun game for the first 2 or 3 levels. Expect a lot of repetition after that. Game looks nice, plays ok, it has a good base for a lot of things that could have been added to improve it. There's some hidden posters that you can collect in every level, as well as mini achievements that require, in general, easy tasks. It's a very casual game, don't expect anything serious. Definitely pick it up with a big discount.

+ Funny scenes Enemies can be killed on surrounding objects The fight is normal - Weak graphics There is no plot, just a set of missions Problem with the gamepad Problem with the camera while moving on the keyboard Very simple stealth 7/10 Norm toy, at a good discount Unfortunately, I'm making a refund because my joystick behaves disgustingly in the game, you can play with keyboard as a whole, although the camera is simultaneously assigned to walking and to the mouse, which causes irritation. But I took the game to play on the couch with a gamepad, and there is a problem with the buttons, they do not work from the first press. Maybe this is specifically my problem, so I won't bury the game. Since the game has good points, although it generally looks very cheap and is no longer aimed at children, as I understood.

When I was younger I watched Movies with Banderas in it but after Banderas It felt like there was nothing until now when I found out about this game and seemingly even the 2015 animated series that this game is based on. It was quite surprising for me that There are series about Zorro even now. But We aren't here talking about Movies and Animated Series. We are here to review the game! The game has very good combat from stunning, to blocking to even countering and specials against different kinds of enemies. It felt really smooth. Stealth system is also very well done and will make you laugh. Speaking of Laughter there are a lot of situation that will make you chuckle from the characters to specials and even some funny glitches that don't impact the gameplay. There are 18 different levels while 18th being the last one. Sometimes the maps feel really empty but will make you search for boxes and barrels that include Hearts which will make you recover and even Z's which are used to purchase perks which will allow you to do more stuff like disarming but If you want to get more perks you can do the map challenges that each map offers and searching for posters that you can overpaint and once you get all of them on one map you can get 100 Z's. Graphically the game is exactly my vibe. The cartoony, celshaded graphics which only offend people who want more realistic games. Not all games have to realistic. Overall It's really good game and I really enjoyed it.

Zorro: The Chronicles has fun, albeit incredibly simplistic combat, but suffers immensely from a tremendously low budget, meaning a near complete lack of cutscenes, a very short length at about 4.5 hours, and it graphically looks like a PS2 title (no this is not an exaggeration). The good news is it's a drastic improvement over the last Zorro game, The Wii exclusive "The Destiny of Zorro", although I still believe that dumpster fire is the worst game ever made, so it's not exactly hard to beat that. The combat is, as stated before, fun, but incredibly simplistic. It feels like a Assassin's Creed knockoff, but... it works, so I can't really complain. The game is very, VERY easy on normal difficulty though. The story is almost non-existent however. You do get some text before each mission describing your objective, but it feels very inconsequential and low stakes. There's a near complete lack of cutscenes, which I assume is due to budget constraints (more on that later). Graphically, Zorro: The Chronicles looks terrible. It really does look like a game that released in 2002. Again, presumably budget constraints. Which kind of sums up how I feel about this game really, it's serviceable but feels incredibly low budget and is very short. Zorro is one of my favorite characters in fiction and it's sad that again and again, Zorro games miss the mark. For what it is, Zorro: The Chronicles is not terrible, but is probably only worth about $5 to Zorro diehards and for anyone else, doesn't do anything to stand out to earn a recommendation at all. 4/10.
