Fun game! Have been a huge Zorro fan since Disney Channel days with Disney's Zorro, then Family Channel Zorro. Movies were meh.. Happy to see another Zorro Game! Overall fun for short stints. The missions have a repetitive feel but overall fun when played once and a while and not all at once.

Grew up watching Alain Delon's Zorro, this game brought a cherished childhood hero from the silver screen to an interesting cartoon style. My main critique is that the game would be nice if contains 8-10 levels instead of 18, as the levels are repetitive after around the 5th. This game is made more for younger players, but it still captures some of the classic Zorro charm. The most entertaining parts are the special animations during combat. You can trigger Zorro to carve his iconic 'Z' on an enemy's trousers, or causing them to drop, pin their hats to the ground with a sword, or strike a classic pose on his standing horse when entering or exiting a level. The rest of the battles are simple, often involving mashing the left click or E button and it is hard to lose. Besides, you don't need to deal with all enemies, though the combat provides resources to unlock new abilities. Each level takes about 5-10 min to complete. If you play quickly and avoid unnecessary battles, you could finish the first 10 levels in under 1.5 hours like I did. The objectives usually involve finding keys to unlock doors, with optional poster drawings if you have the time. Sometimes you're forced to fight groups of soldiers because it's unclear who keeps the key. This, combined with later levels requiring player to defeat waves of enemies, makes the gameplay repetitive. It's an okay game for Zorro fans. I just wish a larger dev would one day give the Zorro IP an 'AAA' treatment, similar to franchises like Indiana Jones and Harry Potter for a truly solid gameplay.
