24 Solar Terms is an okay game, especially for a discount, and it runs smoothly on Steam Deck.
As other reviews mentioned, it is mostly a 'hidden object' game where you often don't know what you are searching for and there is an unconventional and unnecessary time limit on finding them. The fact that there are basically no achievement guides to this game makes this harder. Eventually, what I did was even pixel hunt and click on everything yet I still haven't managed to find every additional item for any of the seasons. The game shows a shadow and a brief description of what you are searching for, but those items are optional, thus you can easily and accidentally progress without them and they are gone forever. Sometimes it's just a twig that is especially annoying since there are countless trees that you can shake for fun, but the twig is not coming out of them.
The idea of this game is great; the art style, the music, and the gamified history that it represents are worthwile, but I would have liked a better user experience when it comes to other aspects. (or at least a solid online guide)
