So far its very interesting. Of course its early access so it could be good or bad. But the price is right for what it is and I enjoy playing. The matches are just long enough not to be a slog. I'm getting a party that has some synergy. A few bugs but again early access. I don't mind putting my money into something as long as I get a few hours of enjoyment out of it.

Really cool game with a great start, even for early access. I have been having a blast so far and I really like the skill based progression system. The character customization is a nice touch too - I look forward to seeing more! Runs really well on steam deck, controls are easy to set up - you do need to use the track pad.

You can tell this was made with a lot of love. I was surprised to see character customization for each party member, including weapons/builds. The game ramps you up at a good pace without feeling like you need a separate tutorial to figure out what's going on. Combat has a good flow and starts off casual. You can take a moment to pause and think as needed without it feeling like it's slowing down the pace of the game. The townsfolk are engaging and it's kinda nice to not have to walk to each person to chat in between quests. I look forward to playing more and hope for the addition of achievements!

Fun turn based tactical RPG with a unique twist on character/party progression. Party power progression is tied to gears and skills unlocks and there is no character level per se. So while the game has only perma death, penalty from a character death is not too harsh (i.e. you lose the value of the skills and gears equipped on that character, which you can make it back in a few battles). The game is currently in early EA, so there's only about 10 hours of content and it's a little grindy. However, it shows good promise so far and I think it will get even better as more contents are added. If you like Battle Brothers type of games, this is definitely a worthy addition to your library, especially at the current price level of $5.99.

Promising start to what could be a great game. I played about an hour and recorded my entire playthrough onto YouTube, my main takeaways for improvements are: 1 - Lack of ability to move the camera around the battlefield. Would be easier to strategize and figure out where your enemies are located. 2 - Striking an enemy and being blocked, then immediately striking the enemy again from the opposite direction and being blocked. I feel as though one of those attacks should land as the enemy would have to face one of those attacks, but not enough time for both. 3 - The amount of arrows on a characters health. Example: 70>>>>>>>. Makes it seem like the character is going to regenerate an otherworldly amount of health when they are only getting +8 at the end of their turn. Outside of these very few nit-picky issues, this game is a ton of fun and right up my alley. If you enjoy turn-based, hex combat like Xcom... Check this out, especially when it's marked as low as it is when I picked it up ($5.39)
