This game provides a good challenge for the sub-$1 on sale price.
The game alternates between Ninja Gaiden-style platforming action and space shmup sections. Movement is janky but controls are tight, enemy hitboxes are sometimes unconventional but easily discerned, and the difficulty oscillates wildly but it's still very fun. The first shmup level is exponentially harder than any other following it. Boss fights got really challenging and cool, especially the finale. The story was strange but bland.
Also, I probably would recommend the game more if the characters didn't look like the ones from those mobile phone ads. Make these pixel arty and I bet more people would be interested!
