The game sort of has Linux support as it says on the store page (all of the necessary files are there), but it will not launch via Steam. It must be run from the game files instead. This is due to a mistake on the developer's side. I explain what is necessary to get the game to work in a discussions thread. I intend to change this review to positive if this is addressed. Extremely short (can be finished in 40 minutes). Good music. Weird plot. More polished than a lot of Ren'Py games. The trailer uses the word "screamer" to describe the jaw-less guy, but this is a translation error (of which there are many). I might say "jumpscare", but even that is not entirely accurate. Their appearance (and the appearance of the other character they mention) is no more scary in-game than it is in the trailer, so don't be afraid.

I thought this would be a biology lesson on cataplexy, but no, this is so much more than that. I'm pleasantly surprised by being supernatural focus and having lore and concerns revolving around this concept that I'm quite jealous I didn't though about it before. But, this is from the developer experience, so I can't complain and I'm glad they're sharing their experiences with us in this game and 'maybe' even in a sequel, maybe. You're probably thinking 'This stranger is not explaining anything, just saying stuff', well, this game is short and I don't want to accidentally spoil anything, just know there's a lot of mystery, gore, creepiest in this little adventure of a game.... oh before I forget, there's also a talking brain.

Good visuals and audio, but it would have been helpful to have a native English speaker check the English dialogue. Extremely short visual novel with an unsatisfying ending, but the presentation makes up for it.

Both funny and creepy. An interesting, albeit extremely short, exploration of cataplexy/sleep paralysis. It's well done and it definitely makes you wish it was a bit longer, but for the small price, it's worth a try if you enjoy horror visual novels and have 15min to spare. I would definitely play a sequel.

Includes a major trypophobia trigger. Otherwise, I did enjoy the part of the game that I did play. If you want to be unsettled and have an occasional laugh, go for it! If you have trypophobia and want to just speed past that section - it pops up after the news article about auto asphyxiation.

The experience is fun but lasts only 15 minutes and ends on sequel bait for the actual story. You're essentially buying a teaser. Not bad, but be aware of what you're buying.

Very short, but incredibly funny, clever, and horrific, visual novel. Its basically a half an hour of pure entertainment that leaves you with more questions than answers. Honestly at $2, high quality entertainment like this is an easy recommend. If they ever come out with a sequel, I'll be all over it.

What a strange little story that gave me like 15 minutes of entertainment. Still, that is only 15 minutes, and I wish for the intriguing concept and art-style that it was longer. Also, the note it ends on makes me expect there would be more. I don't know how I feel overall on whether or not to recommend it based on its short playtime, but I also feel like the concept is worth the little it costs to buy it. For now, it's a thumbs up.

full play through here (I think): https://youtu.be/7-ZEhTWyyo0 The game once you finally get it to start up is a very good mix of creepiness and some pretty witty humor the English translation is really well done also for a game that I suspects first language isn't English. It's really short for a visual novel, but the images and sound effects are pretty on point throughout. I feel the ending was a bit unsatisfying as it seemed like we were about to get entangled with a weird time loop alternate dimension plot, but I guess it makes sense cause that's how dreams do. Overall for the price I think it was good enough for me.
