Play time: I would say 5-7 hours Art: Pretty good, it never looked rough or ugly Music: generic from what I remember Plot: Decent! Too bad it is a copy and paste story through each route until the very end Price: Buy it on sale, y'all. Overall thoughts: Worth the time if you can get it on sale. Got a few chuckles from me and little bit of a who-dunit feel. A good way to spend a free afternoon. :)

I was very pleasantly surprised by this game. The art is very lovely, the writing (though in need of some minor corrections here and there) is great, the characters feel alive and engaging. It's a little short, but it's also fairly low-priced. Generally, I thoroughly enjoyed this game and would definitely recommend anyone that loves mystery themed otoge to give it a try!

Pretty short but good story. The endings don't make me question or disappointed. I really like the game but if you could change the default language to English, it would be better.

Playing through this cute visual novel took me no more than 4 hours. Getting the bad endings is very easy, so I recommend checking out guides if you just want to enjoy a pleasant story in the evening. The most complete story is the cat's. It has the most details and development of the main plotline. I was really touched by it. I recommend starting with either the detective or the pathologist. Otherwise, playing through the novel can be quite boring. The detective's story is very comfortable, with a touch of romance, but I feel like it was botched. I don't want to spoil it, but it seems like he was given few lines/screen time and wasn't well developed. The pathologist's story is more interesting to me, but it's still just a shortened version of the cat's story. Do I recommend it? Yes, at least one story captivated me, and I had an exciting 3 hours with it.

I really like the art, didn't play it that much but it's a very interesting premise. I'm playing it on a 1080p screen and honestly I was a bit unsure about the sprites placement due to the trailer, but it does look great on higher resolutions.

I didn't really like or dislike Mind Rite, though I lament the inability to choose a neutral recommendation. It's an extremely short 2-3 hour otome with all routes and achievements easily completed in that time. As is the case with most of these VN's with such a short runtime, it really doesn't feel like much character development or story was able to make it through to the final cut. The romances feel rushed and barebones, with hardly any indication of chemistry at all. I do like the bits of lore we get about the whole world scattered throughout, and it seems like it would make for a pretty interesting setting if fully fleshed out. The protagonist is interesting enough, too, as a snarky half-elf - but even she suffers from the limited runtime. We never learn much about most of the characters' backstories. Other than that, there's not much else to talk about. The music was very simple and a bit boring, mostly just looping through a small handful of piano tracks. The writing itself was okay, I can't speak for the Russian language but in English it seemed to have been translated decently well, no major errors other than a few sentences with awkward wording here and there. Sound effects are few and far between, so the world feels kind of empty with just piano music and silence otherwise. I personally liked the art, it was very consistent in both the sprites and the CG's and very cute. I've seen VN's that cost more than this one with less (and worse?) artwork so that alone sort of makes up for the price. Despite it being only $7 USD regularly, though, I'd still say wait for a sale if you really want to get this game. I kind of came out of the whole experience just feeling nothing. The endings were short and finished off far too quickly, and even the happy endings were only bittersweet - which did sort of suit the situation, at least. Still, I'd rather give it a positive rec than a negative one because there was nothing really bad about Mind Rite, and there were a few good things, even. Pick it up if you care to, but I think that it's an experience that can be made to wait.

It's just not for me. There are quite a few promising features and well done perks, though, so you might want to give it a try. The art is really good if you like the style. It supports the atmosphere well and is an up to this game, also there is mystery (which I like, too). You also have lots of saving slots so trying each route is no rpoblem. I'm a lttle indifferent about the main characters, so you best figure them out by reading elsewhere or having a go at the game. You'll need to try out some different routes to get the full grisp of it, so I highly recommend playing all out if you decide to go for it. What I didn't like was that even though I tried to focus on the mystery and case, I didn't have the impression of solving much of it or "really" getting behind the scenes while focusing on "work" - it seems you best get to know the full mystery if you dig into the dating part. This game really has potential for some genuine thrill and there is some deep story already but in the end I feel like I still was hanging loose somehow. I guess maybe my expextations got too high after the first few hints to the case. So in the end I didn't get on the good side with this game. It still could be pretty enjoyable to others and, after all, for the price it's good (better than other games at that price section even). I just can't end saying I really enjoyed the playthrough - still, it has well-done parts.

This game is everything you would want in a dark fantasy mystery visual novel. It has really good worldbuilding, very interesting characters, many different unique endings, a complex story that is also deep, great romantic moments between the romanceable characters, tons of CG's, beautiful art and writing as well as very beautiful music. I got three endings with each of the characters. All of them are interesting and unexpected. I love this visual novel! I think it's a must buy even at full price with no sales. I hope the developers make another one like this.

I just finished my first route and really enjoyed it! I like the tension build up of the mystery plot and I was happy I could get to at least one ending in a sitting. I am looking forward to playing through again for each of the love interests, and possibly seeing a darker end. The music was really good and fitting for the different moods. One or two lines weren't translated but it didn't effect the plot any that I noticed. Overall well worth the money, I can tell how much work went into it.

Mind Rite is a nice detective otome visual novel. That was a pleasant short relaxing read. Nothing exciting or mind-blowing but I really appreciate such stories. It's a classic otome with 3 very cute love options. It feels like the central part is solving a crime than making love relations and I admire that. All guys are truly attractive both visually and in character. I'm happy I left Reimo for last by the way when all the mysteries were totally revealed in his route. As usual I scanned through negative reviews (I always find them more impactful, it's fun to see what other players complain about XD) and I can kinda understand the feeling of displeasure that a bad guy wasn't fully punished but I wanted to argue so much that he is a victim here too. He deserves all the love and compassion, perhaps even more than other love interests. I really felt sad knowing
he had to die in other routes
. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2890789520  As the story is rather short I can relate to the feeling that the development of love relationships seemed a bit rushed but I don't think it's a huge flaw in a lighthearted otome visual novels. No explicit content here btw. After the first playthrough there's not much unread text left, so the game is mainly skippable but I really enjoyed good endings with all 3 guys because MC had such different paths for her professional development. That felt amazing, it's not like what you can only choose is a man you can be with, you can be flexible, you can try out such different things, the world is vast with so many opportunities. That felt very inspiring! I don't remember many stories with this feature. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2892785293 As for the detective part, I can't say it was too obvious but at the same time I wasn't too astonished when I learned the truth. There were enough hints throughout the investigation to make me feel really like a protagonist solving the crime herself. I think it was a nice balance. No wow effect but not too boring either. It's truly a decent game. Nice purchase, especially with a discount, for an evening read. English translation is quite decent. Not perfect as usual, the list of typos, literally translated our Russian idioms & some mistakes is still a bit long for me to be totally happy but anyway it's good enough to play and enjoy it in English. Some things even made me laugh, for example, shacks for tea)) To sum it up, praises: + 8 endings, 3 hot love interests; + pretty art in general, beautiful CGs in a neatly made gallery. Reimo's smile especially captured my heart (♥ω♥*) It was too charming! Oh my, I just opened my steam screenshots and realized I didn't make a single ss of his smile O_O What a loss T_T; + overall enchanting atmosphere of the world full of magic, different races like elves, cat people, rites, magic creatures etc; + in a short story there were still some little cute details I appreciated so much, like different figurines symbolizing dif chars. It felt nice. I mean it's easier with a long text to make us sympathize with the characters, so in short games when I feel involved and immersed thanks to similar small things, it's great; +convenient steam guide to get all the achievements. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2892842207 Some complaints: --English should be edited a little bit, nothing disastrous here but still; --Sorry, wasn't a fan of music, soon turned it off, but I saw players really praising it in their reviews, so I guess it's just personal, I really rarely enjoy soundtrack in games; --welp, this otome isn't an exception xD Again I found female MC annoying and stupid in some situations. I don't even feel like complaining strongly about that xD I got used to it already, feels like inevitable in otome games :) --more settings would be nice. For example, to continue skipping after the choices would be so convenient. And I couldn't find auto reading option. So, it's a lovely lighthearted otome. I'd recommend to buy it, though you shouldn't expect much. Steam shows it's the only visual novel released by these devs'. If it's their first experience, it turned out in a great way. Good luck with the next projects! <3

[th]More thoughts about the game in a Reading Nook [/th]
