Gorgeous animations, clever writing, and a learning curve that makes you feel like a seasoned Brigadier General. Absolute blast:-) EDIT: Just finished this, and what they have achieved is incredible. I cannot recommend this enough.

Gameplay is fluid, responsive, and all around fun to play with. The game is far from being difficult making it accessible, yet has enough difficulty to stay fun. On top of the gameplay is the story, of which it is one of the best stories I've played in a game. This is the first video game to ever make me cry. Just... play it. More in depth analysis after a day of thought: The game has a decent amount of dialogue. I do not usually like games with a too much dialogue, but this felt like the right amount to me. As others say, the game seems to be more story than it is gameplay, yet the mechanics are still incredibly fluid and refined. The only criticism I can think of for the gameplay is that it should expand itself a little more, as it can get a tiny bit repetitive at some points, but there's a enough mix up to keep it engaging. In short, the gameplay can feel repetitive but is polished enough that it continues to be fun in my opinion. If you are going to ignore the dialogue of the game, don't bother, you won't be satisfied enough by gameplay alone. I believe that the story and gameplay do a wonderful job at supplementing each other. And I don't say that lightly because I value gameplay FAR above the story a game delivers.

I've played hundreds of games, always from one to the next, because I simply adore story telling. Sanabi is one of the few that brought a joyful tear to my eye during the closing moments. Fantastic story and solid gameplay, it's an experience worth having.

Was not expecting this game to be as good as it was. The writing i thought i was outstanding for this game. The gameplay was also excellent and although at times it was a little quirky this really grew on me. I would not mind going through this one again at some point in the future. Highly recommended.

Utterly remarkable. Writing, direction, pacing, style, not afraid to just be cool and have fun, but never feels too unserious. It's sharp, fast, witty, and relentlessly well thought out. Some of the most fun, fluid, tight and responsive platformer gameplay I have ever experienced. If you enjoy cyberpunk themes on humanity, immortality, and robots, and like some fast gameplay that isn't afraid of being challenging to get to the ending, get this right now.

Game is like 75% story, yet the gameplay is super fun and unique with epic bossfights and a banger soundtrack. Fantastic and fluid animations that give so much life to every character, and the storytelling is absolute cinema. Easily in my top 10 games of all time. 10/10 would cry again
