The biggest crime is that most people don't even know this game exists. Want a great setting? Check. Want a great story? Check. Great music? Interesting characters? Buttery smooth game play? Check, check, check! This game is punching way above its weight. The only honest complaint I could point out is that the game is so good you can get into a flow state—crushing levels and enemies. Then it just stops to throw some story at you. But I can't say I'm really mad, because the story is so strong. Should not be missed!

Surprisingly, this game is primarily story-driven above all else. Not so say anything else about this game is weak - the music is fast and electric, the sprite animation is phenomenal, and the mechanics are simple yet challenging to master. But the story is what makes this game memorable. I strongly recommend it.

One of the greatest games I have ever played, This destroyed me on an emotional level, as much as anime's Like violet evergarden, Or 86-Eighty six have, Beautfully designed, with a story that takes your heart and mind and captivates them, and gameplay that feels easy to Adjust too, but has a significant degree to master. 10/10

This game is amazing - katana zero meets bionic commando, momentum based traversal combat with a pretty solid story which any parent who doesn't have a heart of stone will probably tear up at. The pixel art is so good and expressive, and the way they do dialog was cool and unique. Soundtrack also is great!

It's kind of like a more optimistic Katana Zero. A literal roller coaster of action with some solid emotional beats.

Wow..... I don't even have the words to describe just how much I love this game. The story is near perfect, the gameplay is outstanding and satisfying, the music is heavenly and the animations and graphics are fantastic. Who knew a random indie game I decided to buy on a whim could emotionally gut punch me this hard to the point of tears. A true 10/10 masterpiece

A flawless story-driven game that blends platforming and plot together to create one of the greatest games I've ever played. I think I've gone through the five stages of grief in this utterly amazing experience with absolutely beautiful music, design, and characters.

Purchased for $10. I must apologize to the developers, for I feel I have scammed them by paying so little for such a masterpiece. SANABI is one of exceedingly few games that I will consider a 9 or 10 out of 10. Every frame of this game is breathtaking in its style, the animations are incredibly fluid, and the story is one of the best I have ever experienced in a game of 10 hours. Incredibly well balanced with a high skill ceiling; sections feel difficult at first but not impossible. I will say the controls can take some time getting used to, and there are some instances of bugs like buttons not going off when they're pressed. But these are comparatively minor, and are utterly unimportant in this. EDIT: I should mention this because there's a lot of comparisons to Katana ZERO going around. This is NOT an action focused game, this is a narrative focused game between two people. There is a lot of dialogue and cutscenes can be lengthy. Keep this in mind before you buy.
