A cute, family-friendly puzzle game!
Keep in mind this is meant for children, as it only has one difficulty: easy with big tiles.

It would be a cute and mindless game but the puzzle pieces don't register to mouse clicks at certain times. This is extremely frustrating and renders the game unplayable.

nice little puzzle game, finished it in under an hour and got all of the achievements by the time an hour was up. it was cute while it lasted. the bgm gets repetitive after listening for so long but you can turn it off in the settings and play your own music (i was yawning like crazy). i also got it on sale at $1.37 so i think it was worth the buck for the hour of gameplay.

Though there's a lot of charm in the spritework, as a game Miguelshroom: First day at school is a letdown. Sad as it is to say such, I do feel the negative qualities outshine the positive ones.
Let's start with the positive parts: the sprite animations on each map are cute. There's a lot to discover. Its cheap.
However, the negative parts are: there's one short, repetitive tune for music. There's a lot of repetition in sprites. You're basically assembling the same puzzle over and over. Puzzle pieces are iffy on being picked up by the cursor. Event triggers are even iffier and will not trigger even if you are in 'the right spot'. Movement is extremely limited regardless.
As a result I cannot recommend this game.

Bad translation, buggy both in puzzles and adventure mode. Interesting concept--putting the jigsaw together, then interacting with the world--unfortunately, this has a shallow execution.

Miguelshroom is a wonderful game with beautiful pixel art graphics. Ideal for all ages, it brings easy puzzles together with a very fun story, although short.
This is one of those games to buy, play and relax while completing 100% of the achievements! Congratulations to the developers!!!

Should be a free game.
Cursor is weird and makes it hard to see what it is pointing at.
Cursor is buggy and often selects a different piece than the one it is pointing at.
Cursor is buggy and occasionally does not even select the piece it is pointing at.
Even if the game were free, I would expect it not to have those two bugs.
Despite being a short game, the graphics are reused over and over. I was expecting at least different scenes for each puzzle, not the same scene graphics just moved around a bit.
Has a single piece of music that loops over and over.

I enjoyed putting the pixel landscapes together and then exploring them. That was a great idea!
I've never seen another game that works like this, where the play field is a jigsaw puzzle that needs assembling.
One downside is that the pieces don't snap together with each other; they only snap into their final places.
Apart from the borders, all the pieces are the same two shapes.
The High Quality Jigsaw Puzzle bundle is a good savings if you're happy to have the other games. It bring the individual price for this down to $2.50. Otherwise, $5 is cheaper than the bundle if it's all you want. The bundle dropped in price during the Steam sale, but this game didn't. If you just want this game, there's no point waiting for a sale. Just get it now.
It's a good little game. It really is just a short walk through a few outdoor classes. You can finish everything in less than two hours.
I wonder if there will be sequels in the future.

Hah! This game is actually for kids... The kid in me enjoyed it. XD
There is only one level of difficulty for puzzles (you can see size in images above), but you do have options to do only borders or only insides... Or border choices.
The mushroom is adorable and I like the mouse pointer. The wizard! I like the mushroom's adventure and to find all the achievements I had to play the game twice.
There is an achievement that says "10 - Bench"... But it's actually "10 - Fountain"... Yep.
Also, if you finish the game and need achievements -> Do the levels backward. If you have all 12 open and go back to 3? You only have 3 open now...
Otherwise it's a simple and a fun way to pass time. IF you like jigsaws that is and a little mushroom walking around the field. :p.
Not bad. Not bad at all. Thank ya!!! :3 :)

This game could be a lot better, and could be a lot worse.
The cursor is Very Cute, and I like the sprite of a little wizard man casting spells, however I don't know how you managed to make a cursor that is confusing. It is quite literally one of the most basic things about a computer, and this cursor made me feel strange and unusual. I cannot tell if the tip of the sprite is the clicky part, or the Big Targeting Diamond Thing. My best bet was just hovering the entire cursor over what i wanted and hoping. Which sucked for the menu buttons because in the game, the menu buttons are Small.
Yes, the visuals are very cute, but not good for a puzzle game. There are pieces that are entirely one solid color with no defining features to them, which makes them hard to place unless you accidentally fit them in or guess when you have an outline of a shape.
All the Puzzle Pieces are kindof that Dog-Bone shape (at least as far as I got), which also adds to the boringness.
Also of note, For some reason the cursor defaults to picking up pieces that are at the bottom of a stack? Very Cool to not pick up the piece you are clicking on, and instead sorting through maybe 4 or 5 pieces that are solid brown.
The Music Loop is infuriating and grating to the nerves. It's a few seconds long and i immediately had to almost mute the sounds it was making. Here's a link to a website that generates music for you! you will probably make nicer sounding Sounds than the maybe 4 second loop this game drools out.
If you'll allow me a quick gripe, it says "Hold down H to skip to next puzzle". You do not have to hold down H, I pressed it on accident and it skipped right on by the gameplay. I feel as though there is a difference between Pressing a key and Holding Down a key.
Overall, it is a cute looking game, but I do not think that this is a great puzzle game. A kid might enjoy it, You could get little Timothy to get all the steam achievements, but I don't know man. I would suggest you just go to a dollar store and get a cheap puzzle. Paint the front side white, get your kid to draw a picture/story on it, and boom. You have a family activity that you can then keep in a box for memories sake.
