The maps are small and super linear. The maps are boring and feel like no effort was put into them.

Peak ww1 gameplay each installment got better. Would love to see a ww1 collection that puts the Isonzo gameplay into Verdun and Tannenburg.

This is a suggestion post and I hope the official can see it. Personally, I think the weapon unlocking in this game is not as good as that in the previous two installments. It is recommended to adopt the unlocking schemes of Verdun and Tannenberg. Otherwise, the unlocking and upgrading process is really troublesome.

I really didn't want to leave a negative review but I have to. I love this game despite my lack of playtime compared to BF1, as this is among my favorite FPS shooters because of the focus on teamwork and historical accuracy from the devs. Not surprising, this along with their other two WWI games (Verdun and Tannenberg) is really the only time I can have fun in any FPS MP lobby now. It is no surprise that Isonzo is the more popular/active out of the three, as in addition to being the latest it also has a more customizable way to play when you choose a loadout. But since this game came out I always find myself uninstalling it and reinstalling it from time to time when I want that itch, and I reinstalled this game during the weekend and have been playing it since, even got my Assault class to rank 20; I genuinely had fun playing this in the late night, having 1-2 bottles of beer as I play before I decide to go to sleep. But having playing it again, I finally found out why I always get frustrated with this game: the God awful spawning. Isonzo has most shit-tier spawning system in any FPS game I have played, I will want to spawn on a map/squadmate and it will put me literally 50 ft. away from where I want to spawn. To make matters worse, the game will spawn you literally right in the crosshairs of an enemy player/bot so you die again before you move 5 ft. I think I saw a few claims of cheaters too? But the closest I have seen was some dude running in and melee killing people with an ice pick, which is a legitamite way to play. I remember someone doing just that last time I played but with a knife. Pretty funny when it happens honestly until he sneaks past literally all of your teammates. This game is really fun and I want to give it high praise, but I have to rate it a 4/10. Don't get me wrong, this game is genuinely very fun. But due to the broken spawning system, this game can make for an equally frustrating experience. It has actually made me want to return to Verdun.

A blend between Hell Let Loose and Battlefield. Great graphics, easy learning curve, and unlimited replay-ability. FYI: To play single player, you need to create a custom game and fill with bots. This is a great way to practice and learn controls.
