A unique take on Golf Games!
Well-tuned mechanics along with absolutely serene landscapes lead to likely one of the calmest experiences you will have playing a game.
While levels can be frustrating at first, it's never the game that's the issue, moreso learning how to traverse the levels and make every shot count. Trick-shots are *super* satisfying once you figure them out!!
Definitely plan on playing this quite a bit! You can tell a lot of work went into it, and it's a great thing to see such polish in an Early Access title :)

A lovely game by a lovely studio. It perfectly squares itself between the relaxation one might find in a title like Mario Golf (with its golf meets magical world premise) and the challenging, precision platforming of titles like Super Meat Boy and Celeste. Really looking forward to the full version!

I got this game to try it out after hearing about it from a stream that I often watch. I can say that this game is really really fun, I love all the mechanics of the game and how you can control the golf ball that has been produced by the wizard and manipulate the environment around you. The game is really well done overall and the platforming aspect of the game is challenging for anyone who loves platforming, however I want to put some of my own feedback down below.
- So, this is my first bit of feedback because I think it may be potentially important to the growth of the game, when I started the game on controller I ran into a bit of a graphical glitch. I am a controller player, so I am pleased that the game does fully support controller, but the new game option completely covered any of the other options that I was able to choose from. This could be due to me having OBS open at the time since I was getting ready to stream this game at the time, but I do think it is something worth looking into. I currently have not seen the issue since, so I don't know if this was caused by OBS.
- I believe the start menu in the game could be expanded on, right now there's only the option of new game and continue if you already have a save made from playing it before. It would be nice if players had the option to go through an options menu for the game or even close the client of the game from the start menu. I would like to note that the game does have an options menu and quit game option, but this is only accessible when you are already in the game. I think these menus should be accessible straight from the start screen and not only when the player is already in the game.
- The camera could work a little better when the golf ball is being obscured by a tree, one of the first levels in stage one had a tree and I couldn't really make out where I was positioned too well. I don't know if that is intentional to add a challenge for the player, but I think maybe an option to tilt the camera a little so the player can 'peek' at their position would be nice.
- The last comment I would like to make is that I wish there was more bgm (background music) in the game. There is a music option, but it really just lowers a soft sounds that are suppose to represent music in the game. It's not something that was a deal breaker for me, since I lowered the music volume after a little and just played a nice selection of lo-fi from the twitch music application as I played. But I think it could be something that would bring appeal to the stages as players go through the levels.
Overall, this game is really really fun which is why I still recommend it even with my above comments. It could use a bit of work, but it's very challenging and rewarding when a player finally manages to get through all of the obstacles placed in their way. I have not ran into any major bugs that kept me from enjoying the game or any errors, just small quality of life updates that could bring more convenience to the player or draw them in more.
