Hello all, Since I have all the parts from the developer and I am a fan. For sure I also bought the first part! Very funny and uhm yes very direct and hot to watch. Because yes, you're a peeper. So have fun saving your village or yourself? he he... Successful, you hardly notice that it is the first part of the series. Greetings a big fan

Art is great. The story is fun, but the game is too short and doesn't have many scenes. If you like Black Train, this isn't a bad game.

This one is really underwhelming compared to Black Trains previous works. Which makes sense considering it's their first game, only now getting an english translation. If you're looking for something with with content similar to their other games, there's a Branded Azel spinoff that's not on steam which is pretty good.

I have played the first two games of black train, but this new game feels like it was sold before it was even finished. The story flow is short, the dialog box cannot be hidden, the map is very small, monsters are reused, and most of the CG has nothing to do with the protagonist. Overall, it is not recommended.

This is actually kind of goofy yakuza meets girl plot. Art: 8/10 -- I have seen better art but this dev retains the art style from previous game Sound 8/10 Mechanics well, it is your typical RPGM game. nothing much is new about it except for some perks like capturing enemies to get them fight for you. Overall grade for me is 8/10
"Dragon" of Dojima ey ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
What do you mean that's the wrong franchise ಠ~ಠ Sujimon(すじもん/Yakuza) Quest is another Eroge RPG created by BlackTrain, this time using RPG Maker VX Ace. Featuring isekai'd(?) Yakuza and a busty genki(energetic/enthusiastic) girl whose hobbies include peeping and 'self-love' *cough* flicking the bean *cough* saucing the taco.
*Requires the usual R18 Patch from Kagura Games' site to enable the spice (300MB)
Let me just put this out there right off the bat. Whilst Sujimon Quest may be the latest Black Train release on Steam, it is by no means a new game. Sujimon Quest is ironically one of Black Train's earliest releases on DLsite, dating back to 2016.. What I'm trying to say is... while not a bad game, it's honestly pretty rough around the edges, and by direct comparison a significant downgrade from his two other titles available on steam... SO BE WARNED!

[th]*For context, while Black Train's other 2 titles Niplheim's Hunter - Branded Azel, and Explorer of Yggdrasil predate Sujimon Quest on Steam, both were released after Sujimon Quest on DLsite back in 2017 and 2020 respectively.[/th]

Sujimon Quest (2016) - Niplheim's Hunter - Branded Azel (2017) - Explorer of Yggdrasil (2020)

Now that that's out of the way.. Let's get right into what it's about!
To Summarize
In Sujimon Quest Gaaru's tranquil village of Groveside is facing a crisis from rampant attacks by "Sujimon", and risks being wiped out! These 'monsters' with a "suji"(slit ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) between their legs have the power to enthrall and cripple men (Think succubi I guess..), in order to save her town from these crotch weapon wielding fiends, Gaaru needs to harness the power of the legendary Sujimon, who is said to have the power to reign over all "Sujimon"... though in this case the Legendary Sujimon turns out to be just that...a sujimon/すじもん(Yakuza)... Together, the pair will unravel the mysteries behind the Sujimon and bring an end to their reign of terror! and Gaaru's quest to kachi'm all begins! (You're able to "capture" certain Sujimon) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) "reign" we all know that's just Sujimon getting piped ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ *すじもん/Sujimon is a fun play on words. Our male "secondary protagonist"- Tatsumi is the Legendary "Sujimon" and just so happens to be a sujimon/すじもん(Yakuza), whereas the Sujimon are bewitching monsters with "slits"(Suji/すじ) that can reduce men to lifeless husks hence Suji-mon(すじもん). Featuring +/- 40 ecchi scenes with over 400(Variations of the +/-40 base scenes) erotic CGs, BlackTrain's Sujimon Quest is packed with peeping tomfoolery, top-tier voice acting & a treasure trove of facial expressions. (lots of ahegao) The amazing artwork in these scenes and CGs aside, while Gaaru may be the postergirl for this game, she hardly gets any scenes/herself getting piped. It's mostly other girls getting piped/Tatsumi getting head, and Gaaru just peeping/touching herself. Most scenes show a new girl every time, and artworks tend to be reused with slightly adjusted dialogue.
Let's Talk Gameplay and Mechanics
Classic RPG maker gameplay created with RPG Maker VX Ace. Like with Black Train's other game Niplheim's Hunter - Branded Azel, Monsters in the overworld will be aggro'd when in range. Choosing to fight or avoid them is entirely your perogative. If you do choose to fight, Sujimon Quest is much like the above mentioned title by Black Train in that it's another Turn-Based RPG. Defeating certain Sujimon enables you to capture and send them to the brothel, and making certain choices during battle results in a post-battle H scene (Defeating the Sujimon using certain skills) this will also net you ten times the usual EXP. Resting at home or the inn in town, enables you to trigger "night activity"-only events leading to some peeping tomfoolery and a lewdness level that rises when Gaaru watches other girls getting piped. While the lewdness level can lowered by praying at the pond, it is negligible as the level does not lead to any further developments nor are there any other sex stats for it to attribute towards.
Pros:

+ Quality Art as usual by 黒電車/Kurodensha/Kurotaketo.
+ Uncensored compared to the original Japanese release's Mosaic. Σ(・口・)
+ Decent OST/BGM for what is essentially just a bunch of stock assets mixed in with uncommon licensed assets. ♫♪ ԅ( ˘ω˘ԅ)♫♪
+ H - Scene CVs by Mikan Nakano, Ao Inukai and Milk Amakawa.
+ Likeable dorky characters~ v(^∀^*)
+ Gallery! The diary in Gaaru's home allows you to re-watch scenes.
+ Decent bang..giggity.. for your buck, Sujimon Quest will easily keep you entertained for 4+hours (5-6 hours if you intend to 100% the game).
+
Also did I mention..*cough* alotta AHEGAO~ *cough*( º﹃º )

Neutral:

+- While the postergirl for the game, Gaaru hardly gets any scenes of her getting the glizzy, it's usually other girls/Sujimon getting piped or Tatsumi getting the succ. I've put this in Neutral as the artwork and designs of the other girls are still stellar nonetheless.

Cons:

- Being one of Black Train's earlier releases (2016), Sujimon Quest feels much rougher around the edges in all departments; gameplay, art, and mechanics.
- Odd disparities in artstyles. For some reason, only 'named' Sujimon/Characters getting piped are in the iconic Black Train artstyle, and "generic" 'unamed' mob Sujimon/Characters getting piped are not (In a simpler artstyle).
- Forgettable plot with exposition dumps that is all over the place.
- Unfortunately, unlike Black Train's other titles on steam, equipping different armors does not change our Heroine's outfit. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
- No Dialogue Skip, Text Log, or button to hide text boxes. Even by 2016 standards, this is pretty inexcusable for an eroge..
- No Fullscreen Resolution and Support.
- Can't bind/rebind controls. ヽ(´Д`;)ノ
- No Steam Achievements. ( ˘・з・)
- No Steam Trading Cards/Badges. (´゚д゚`)

TL;DR
In Sujimon Quest, the 'genki' Gaaru, joins forces with the "legendary" sujimon-Tatsumi in an attempt to triumph over the looming sujimon threat in order to save her hometown! Sujimon Quest truly shines when it comes to audio and visuals. However the overall gameplay and story are disappointingly lackluster, where you simply travel from region to region defeating Sujimon and unlocking sex scenes, with the core plot of the game occasionally being fed to us through text-dumps of lore. With this being Black Train's first proper attempt at an "RPG", though not very compelling, fans would undoubtedly still find this title decently enjoyable. While I'd usually say anything by BlackTrain is definitely worth the full price, and a must buy whenever its on sale for Eroge lovers. This is probably the only time I'd say to probably wait to get it on sale unless you're a diehard fan of BlackTrain's games/artstyle as Sujimon Quest truly suffers quality wise just from being one of their earlier releases. For a Score I'll give it a
7 ᶘ ᵒᴥᵒᶅ /10 ᶘ ᵒᴥᵒᶅ

[th]Follow me for more reviews with raw statistics to aid in your purchasing decision![/th]

Shameless Curator Plug [clickity] („ಡωಡ„)

[strike]haven't finished this game yet, but truthfully, doubt most people writing reviews did. [/strike] minor spoilers. Sujimon Quest is a pretty usual jrpg fantasy game where you go around killing stuff, helping folks and saving world. There are 2 protagonists, first one is a horny village girl called Gaaru that gets off from peeping on others having fun and the other is Tatsumi, a yakuza member who was somehow transported into fantasy world together with a pal of his. The world is inhabited by magical creatures known as Sujimon, which are usually girls of all sizes and hairinesses that use their magical powers of a "slit" in between their legs to charm men and make them bedridden. And so, after nearly every man in the village of Groveside is incapacitated, the village where Gaaru resides in, she decides to take it upon herself to find the Legendary Sujimon and ask for his assistance, except it turns out that Tatsumi is the legendary sujimon. Purely based on either mine or kagura's synopsis, it's quite apparent that the story is, quite frankly, all over the damn place, which usually isn't an issue with these horny games, but it's definitely a thing to consider if you're someone who enjoys at least somewhat coherent story. And at some points, it does feel like a parody, so it gets kind of a pass. The combat is... uhm... there? Majority of the time, just simply spamming simple attacks is more than enough to deal with 99% of anything that attacks you. While Gaaru and other sujimon that later join you are able to use magic, Tatsumi, being a simple human being that he is, has none of that, but he's still able to use his toilet paper points to use some abilities and together with that, use his otherworldly device known as a fucking gun. Whilst traversing map, you may find bullets lying around, which then you can equip and use to shoot the bad guys, killing almost anything in single shot, whenever that is actually required. There are no surprise attacks or ambushes or anything of that sort, in fact, sometimes engaging with enemies is hard unless they're directly targeting you where if you get behind them juuuuust right, you can keep following behind them, spamming prompts and all and nothing happens. Also, there are a sort of post battle horny scenes, where if you use specific Tatsumis' ability that i forgot the name of, you can engage in the good times with the aforementioned Sujimon with slits that were damaged pokemon style to deal with them, awarding you retarded amount of xp and a horny scene. Which leads to another issue, xp. Straight up, it's way too easy to over level, like so far, most of the generic Sujimon i've seen had 3 scenes, and afterwards you can skip them, but you still get xp for those scenes, which is either 800 or 500, can't recall. Well, just killing harder enemies gives you around 200-300, and getting those "scenes" isn't the hardest thing when you can 1 shot the sujimon, and also use Tatsumi's skill that works basically like False Swipe and leave them with low hp. And the xp gain was same for Sujimon of multiple strengths. Oh, there's also equipment, but yea, just give your character stronger weapon and the rest ain't really necessary until quite later. Sound is aight, the usual free sound library was used extensively, so you will probably hear the same songs you heard million times already. Voice acting is there only during horny scenes and only for girls, which i prefer to entire game being with voice acting. Art and horny good, moving on... except not always, just while randomly playing, i noticed handful of, let's call them graphic inconsistencies. Examples being in the brothel (that will be opened very early in the game), where there are jail cells and you can kinda see that Gaaru clips over one jail cell door that used to not be there and when you defeat Sujimon that drops chest with loot whilst facing woods, the chest gets places straight into the walls, lovely. Overall, of the 3 Black Train games that are on steam definitely the weakest one (note: haven't played Yggdrasil, only going off of what friend of mine told me), but it also makes sense given that it's not only the cheapest one, but also the oldest one, where based on dlsite it came out in 2016, whereas niplheim came out year later in 2017 and yggdrasil 2020. So while not necessarily bad game, in case you already played either of their 2 other releases, this will definitely feel quite underwhelming and unless you just want more black train art (i know i certainly did), better to just skip on this one. Also a note, apparently they're working on another game, no release date yet, but just a thing to keep in mind.
the fact that afaik there wasn't a single scene with Gaaru and Tatsumi pisses me off
