Great Collect-A-Thon hidden gem, I was honestly surprised by how much I ended up enjoying it, I completed it 100% and loved basically every moment. I admit that the beginning was kinda rough, the tutorial is slow, the plot and the dialogues don't feel very interesting and the mechanics are kinda hard to grasp fully at first, but as soon as I was given the freedom to explore I started to fall in love with the game. The spreading mechanic that is the base of the game may seem weird or limiting at first, but imho it's a very unique, satisfying and clever system that also gives you many ways to solve the puzzles. The platforming isn't a big part of the game, as the character you control can basically go anywhere without problems (though it cannot collect anything by itself, so you need to spread the Togges), what really matters is the exploration, and that it's absolutely great, as the game reminded me old N64 classics like my beloved Banjo-Kazooie. I also loved how finding the collectibles isn't just for raising the completion percentage, but every single one is useful because it acts as a sort of checkpoint that helps you with the spreading of Togges. It's true, as I see in other reviews, that the game introduces basically all the mechanics very early (maybe it would have been better to spread the introduction of the different colors throughout the game rather than all in the beginning hours), but frankly I found every new world always interesting and fresh nevertheless, so even after almost 30 hours I never felt the repetition and I was sad when I had no more collectibles to find. Also works great in VR with UEVR.

I wasn't sure I liked the cube-placement mechanic at first, but the rules are simple and there are plenty of ways to get hints so you can track down every collectible. Fans of 3D-platformer collectathon games should definitely give this one a try. 10/10 I fell in love with it.
