I recommend this game with a "but," and that "but" is that while I recommend this game, it's better to get it when it's on sale for reasons I will list later. Things I love about the game; - It's a weekly gift system, I enjoy that cause I'm terrible at giving gifts every day. - They display when the friendship level goes up, for my visual havin' self that's great. - You can form deeper bonds beyond just a regular town NPC and MC, the people have depth and scars, they have things they don't want people to know. Everything isn't always sunshine and I love that realism. - Gathering items multiple times has a reward system that can benefit you. - Almost every single item in the game has some use in some way. (My pack rat is vibrating.) - Fortune telling, weather spells, rituals to help with your farm, tailsmens to help in various areas. Ok now, Things I don't love; - The freaking bugnet; Seriously this thing is FRUSTRATING. If I had to describe it without colorful words; "You spin me right round nightmare mode except there's nothing fun about it." - I swing up, miss, I swing down, miss, I swing as they're leaving, miss, I swing as they come towards me, miss!!!!!!!! Thankfully I haven't died from the bites from the bugs but man, please fix it or make the area bigger. Anything please. - The fact that we can't farm with the Dree and the Hares is offensive and no one can change my mind. Dree can be like cows, yes they're dumb, but they're OUR dumb bois. As for the hares, I just really like bunnies. - I'm upset that our familiar is BARELY around. A familiar is another extension of the witch, but we barely see them around the house. - There's glitches that while they aren't game breaking, they are noticeable. / The clothes don't seem like they were given weights with the idea of her running in mind. Only standing idle. / The scorpions and the cuflows need their animations worked on BADLY. I don't own skating Cuflows, and scorpions need to move all their legs, not just skate across the dessert. - There's not a whole lot of furniture that makes your home feel witchy. The bed choices in particular. If you've made it this far into my review thank you. For those who skimmed the TL;DR version: Get the game but wait till it's on sale.

This game is absolutely one of the best cozy games I ever played!! If you’re looking for a cozy game with tons of things to do look no further because this game has a little bit of everything to get you engaged it’s an open world with lots of challenges and it’s beautiful 🙌🏻 I don’t know how I missed it when it came out now I’m letting all my friends about it I have plenty of other games but this one has become my all time favorite 🤩

Great game. A lot of things were done really well. I was particularly impressed with the weather system and the incorporation of moon phases. There's a ton to do. A single play through was over 200 hours for me. Got my money's worth for sure. After completing the game I do have a few gripes. 1) One side quest about Yutu's lost cat is glitched and never allowed me to complete it. 2) The resources on the farm spawn in/through things that you've built, and they spawn a lot. 3) The Astra realm was a fun, whimsical idea that is ruined by forcing you to only travel on foot. Let us use the broom or at least a mount! It is way too slow and trying to find all the parts of the scarecrow was ridiculous. I gave up on it. 4) The cat hideouts would be more fun if all of them were little mazes, instead of running right in and out of a little hole. Felt pointless. The camera also moves to inside the cat on some of them, making the bag hard to grab. 5) The Paffti market is also pointless. They only sell normal quality items that are way overpriced. Would be great if they sold high quality goods. 6) Would've been nice to have SOME level of combat. Real missed opportunity for using magic to fight. 7) Lastly, some master quality items are too hard to come by. Master honey can only be obtained by waiting for the random honey harvest event. Add a charm to make master honey obtainable when needed please! Master rare quality gems are hard to come by too. I gave up trying to get a master agate for the kitchen charm. I really think that if you're using every strategy to get good stuff, then you should get good stuff! For example, if my Torzu has max happiness and and is consistently eating the highest quality food then I should be consistently getting high quality milk, yet that is not the case. Foraged and farmed master quality items seemed much easier to obtain and were done well. Minus needing the high quality honey to make the fertilizer. Hence the need for a charm. Still absolutely a game worth trying.

This is a fun game with a good main story line and plenty of little side quests. The main focus, of course, is the farming/potion making to earn money - at least, in my opinion. Building relationships is easy, though, a bit tedious. It is difficult to really know what and how to progress in quests without the wiki - which has been a lifesaver. A couple things I wish could be changed about this game is the sleep to save feature and why the heck do I keep repeatedly having shader issues that crash the game? I have researched and adjusted and then out of nowhere, the game will crash. I have lost so much progress that I then have to repeat to get and often, don't get the same items when I go back (i.e. the dig sites). I also got my first master ranked items and just lost them due to the last crash I had. THOUGH, I do have quips with a couple features about the game, I do recommend it. It is a lot of fun. And the crashing could be something on my PC that is an issue with the game. Though, I know I am not alone in the issues.

A very fun game and getting better with every update, in the beginning there were a few nasty bugs but they are getting much less. There are always different things to do and quests to progress in. I really enjoy playing :)

This game has a MASSIVE bug that makes playing it impossible. It was first reported in the Discussions nearly a year ago, and the devs seem to have zero interest in fixing it. THE BUG: Like many games, this one uses a "sleep to save" option. Okay, no worries. It's not particularly convenient compared to other games that let you save when you want and just keep the sleep as an autosave feature, but I can live with it. I reinstalled this game yesterday and played it. Got through the tutorial and first day, no problem. Decided to sleep-save and quit. I opened the game again today and hit Load. The game restarted right from the beginning. Same cutscenes (although these are skippable) same everything. However, my customized outfit from the save remained, as did all the items from yesterday. The decorations I'd put in my house were gone. The game thought I hadn't played through the tutorial yet, so it made me restart. Unfortunately, in my quest log, the tutorial was already marked as "Complete." So although I can grab the cobwebs, I can't progress, and I can't even leave the house. Devs, please fix this!

This game had the potential of being absolutely awesome BUT it is painfully slow going, and very frustrating to play. you can only sell items on your witches stall, you cant sell anything to shops. You get recipes for cooking, crafting and potions BUT you can not get every item needed for the cooking crafting and potions because every plant flower weed herb is seasonal. You are able to get a witches broom BUT the items needed are like 4+ seasons in to the game and each season lasts 20 days. I have spend days trying to play this game and I am seriously not getting any where. The only thing I am getting is frustrated. This game gives you some great crafting cooking and potions recipes but what is the point having them if you can not craft them for like a decade because you cant get the items needed to cook craft them or make them in to potions. I have played many games that have had limitations on the game play, but this game is by far the worst ever. Other games at least give you recipes to items you CAN actually make. As you are totally unable to get the witches broom till at least season 4 (80+ games day as you still need to find the last items needed) it really hinders the game as you have miles and miles of land to search for items. Growing vegs/flowers in you plot is also very slow, some crops take 16+ days to grow and often are not able to grow in the next season, often by he time you have actually got the money to buy the crop seeds and by the time they grow they will come ready in the next season when they can no longer grow ad they just turn brown and die. Gaining any amount of money is painful to say the last as you can only sell what you put on your witches stall and that only sells IF you have reputations points, the higher your reputation points the more people come to your stall. You can visit the towns notice board and do jobs for people, they ask for items you can craft, cook and create potions for, but like I have already stated you can not get all the items you need to be able to actually do this jobs for people, this really slows down your reputation points and how much money you can gain. Getting reputation points is also painfully slow. If you want a game that is this slow and frustrating then this is the game for you, but if you like faster paced games were you feel like you are improving/progressing with every day you play then this game is seriously not for you. I am at 31 hours of playing and I have still not got anywhere. Even after watching YT videos and reading many walk through's and tips and tricks on the internet.
