This is a hesitant recommendation. My Summer Adventure has various pros and cons.
Pros - good premise, compelling details in each girl's personal stories, nice character art, and more humour than I expected, which was done well and enjoyable.
Cons - the visual transitions could be a little clumsy, some spelling mistakes in the narration, and the controls not always clear (still have no idea how to turn auto on), making the game seem a bit badly made. Also, the emotional depth of the story felt cut short. I appreciate a succinct story that doesn't over-explain or have filler/needless content, but this game could have done with exploring each route in a little more depth, to allow the player to get more of an emotional connection to the characters and situation before big events happen. Things feel a little rushed as is. A final con is also that some of the endings are too similar, and therefore unnecessary.
It's not a brilliant game, but entertaining enough I guess. Definitely get it on a big sale.
