I think on a surface level, this initially felt kind of clunky with the premise setup as well as the strange visual transitions, music choices, and humour. However the game's writing took a sharp turn for the better and it really felt more raw and emotional as you got deeper into it. I definitely liked Kotonoha more since she felt more complex as a character with a richer backstory. I think this was worth a read, despite having an awkward balance between fun and heavyness.
