Playtime: 315 minutes
I grew up in the era of floppy disks, and remember using them to install various LucasArts and Sierra games. This game's creator seems to have done so as well. Gets a bit "bash the fourth wall down" at times, but I find that to be a bonus? Overall I had fun, even though I did need some help figuring out certain puzzles. Apparently there's a sequel planned as well.

Wow, i was really struggling if i should give thumbs up or down...the the story is simple, but cute (and i found it a bit boring to be honest). Most of the puzzles are OK. The dubbing is OK as well...lots of references to other games, monkey island, star trek etc, i think it was the case where less would have been more. I had two major problems that prevented me from fully enjoying the game: 1) endless dialogues. Like literally endless. Yes, you can click them through the accelerate, but they are still terribly long and don't add that much to the story to make them worth listening to. Especially considering how many of them are repetitive. 2) the graphics. The graphics style is OKish, but what annoyed me is the cheap solution for every slightly more complicated animation - the screen goes black and we just see the subtitles and hear the dialogue/sounds. This trick was used very well in many of the games in the 90s, but it was used smartly. Here it is trying to hide the limitation of the game engine - the game feels that it was done with minimal coding and with just some tool that allows you to click together some basic game with basic animations. It felt REALLY cheap. I finished the game more like because i already invested a few hours into it rather then because i enjoyed it. Overall - I still recommend the game, because the main character is likeable and the story of rescuing a cat is worth the efforts, but the game could easily be so much better...
