I remember playing this a lot on C64/Dos, however the game didn't stand the test of time.

The first real football/soccer game.
First real because it was the first game that captured actionfilled gameplay, all games that came before were very slow to play, the above the pitch camera and top to bottom scrolling gave this game that much needed speed.
Controlls were the best you could get back in the day. Tournaments and league play one game was a first as well. After this only the Kick-Off series and of course Sensible Soccer could compete/were better.
The first step that in the end lead to EA's Fifa and Konami's Pro Evo series, without this game it would have taken longer and probably would have looked much different today.
I personally love this game, just like I love Sensi, both I played at different times of my life, single and multi.
If you played this before or if you want to educate yourself on gaming history, get this game, worth the admission price, even if paid in full.
