Completely broken for HTC Vive. Cannot even start the Tutorial, and no Sound at all still. Dev is not responding any more.

Game is clearly not finished. My guess is abandoned and out of early access. There are menu options that don't take you anywhere (like "main game" and "tutorial"). All we get is a shooting range.

cool way to spend some free time on, i'm hoping the update brings more challenges

Fun mini games to pass the time, I hope they release the exam mode soon.

This is officially a two part review. TLDR: Your Game Doesn't work! https://youtu.be/0OwotX46oyI TLDR Part 2: I gave it a second chance, and Your Game Still Doesn't work! https://youtu.be/JrJAh7MNRKo Part 1: "Sheriff exam is a fully playable western shooting simulator with one main adventure mode and mini-games (preliminaries)..." So they say. I guess, fully playable means the game starts, and you can exit. After doing so several times I was eventually able to do something other than look at the menu. When i try to play any of the "Main Modes" all i get is a screen with all the modes that are "Coming Soon" In trying to play the mini games, the UI would close and i'd be back at the main menu. I was eventually able to play the bottle shooter, but was unable to do anything else. part 1 conclusion: This game has a long ways to go, which is unfortunate because of all that it promised. ie, a fully playable etc... From a developers perspective. It seems they have functions that are calling the leader board, and that you aren't able to progress, or see the play button, until the leader board has loaded. fix this. all though it may be hard to believe, there are people with limited internet, and when loading this game up at such a location, it can only be described as: "Sheriff exam is a western shooting themed Exit simulator." ------- Part 2: A friend said that maybe I was a little harsh, and that most people wont give my review the time of day because of the lack of time in game. I said, Ok, I'm not one to judge unfairly, lets give this another go... Watch the video. In the about for this game it says: "What’s currently in the game : Mini-games are sort of preliminary tests for the exam. The player must get a good score on them before attempting the actual exam." I have (done the above), and the video posted as Part 2 shows that after completing one of the tests, with a score above the listed 5k, my score didn't even save. Which means I still can't take the exam... in the game... Sheriff Exam... Now that I have posted the videos, i have also allowed for comments on this review. If the developer would like to get in touch I'm happy to fix these problems for them. If these problems do get fixed, I'm more than happy to change my recommendation.

I like the update, it effectively doubles the playthrough time. The mine lvl is a bit short tho.

I get that this is early access sort of since the devs are promising an update, so for the price, it's totally worth getting it early. I hope they deliver with the exam mode..

shooting mechanics are good but the shotgun needs some work imo - needs that shotgun spread, but overall pretty nice

Only the mini games are available right now with a notice in the game that more is coming soon but I can't believe this game is only $5 bucks its really fun

OK, so the hard truth here is that ‘Sheriff Exam’ would have been the same game if played on the Oculus Go or the Gear VR, its a Wild-West themed range shooter in which you get to shoot at bottles, ducks and a few other things all done in a shooting stall style challenge with the aim of the game to get as many points as you can. The game looks OK most of the time, the aiming seems to be on point and there are 6 different styles of shooting range. For just £3.99 you will probably get your money’s worth here if you enjoy score chasing, but this game is not going to win any awards for originality.
