Lovely little puzzle game. There are some levels where you really have to think ahead so you won't get stuck with the pieces and once you complete it you feel accomplished. Some levels might be a bit just move them and you'll make it, but if you just got out of a hard level that doesn't really matter your just happy to have done one fast and it gives you a good feeling. After the main levels there is also an even harder segment to get lost it really nice.

This dev thrives on the: Simple to understand hard to master, motto! Simple in theory, but challenging to get your head around - check out this and all the devs other games if you love a challenge and love some great puzzling games!

Took me a while to complete the game but it was fun and challenging, definitely worth the price.

My brain was smoking, but in a good way! I really like old-school games and this game really did a great job offering such an experience. The soundtrack was a bit stressful, but to be honest I just disabled it and let some other music run in the background after a while. Apart from that, a lot of fun and some tricky puzzles!

This game is great! Just beat the Main Campaign, only to discover that there's 2 additional Level Sets I still need to tackle, but so far it's a quality puzzler (no story, tho). Simple premise, elevated to extremes.

Hack Grid is a fun little retro style puzzle game that's definitely entertaining. It's not something you're gonna be playing for 50 hours, but it's a great way to test your mental fortitude and keep your mind active when you need something to pass the time. Plus, at such a low price, there's certainly nothing to complain about. The DOS style is fun in both visuals and audio, with a very simple but thematically suited soundtrack. I also like that you can toggle the CRT effect on and off to your preference. The levels themselves are good in that the difficulty grows at a steady rate, so you're not suddenly stuck, and the instructions are clear when new elements of gameplay are introduced. All in all, I'd recommend Hack Grid as a nice bit of fun to put your brain to the test!

Not much to say here, it's quite simple but charming coffee-break puzzler. Easy enough to be understood by someone as braindead as me, hard enough to make both of my neurons scramble in agony.

TLDR: Puzzler with a simple mechanic and complex gameplay wrapped in a classic DOS aesthetic, 10/10 would hack. Playing Hack Grid late at night in bed with the Sound Blaster-esque soundtrack drawing me in, I felt like I was finally playing a satisfying hacking minigame, and all that juicy mainframe data was about to be mine! You have to move pieces around the grid until only one remains. It’s a simple concept that spawns complex puzzles. I found myself continually coming back to try and finish just a few more levels. I played Hack Grid on both my PC and Macbook and it ran perfectly on both. Well worth the price, and the Master DLC for A$1.50 is a steal.

Actually, I'm not too much into puzzle games, but now I played Hack Grid and I'm really impressed! The concept is neat, the puzzles are challenging but not boring, and the difficulty increases in a very nice way. I had a lot of fun with it and I really got challenged. Just couldn't stop beating the levels one after the other. And.. the retro style! Amazing. It really reminds me of my childhood back in the days: the graphics and the music were only like this... and we were playing for hours! Ah, some refreshing nostalgia... If you are into retro gaming and thinking, then you should definitely try it!

Cute little retro puzzler. Was a bit hard to read the tutorial with the CRT font and it would be nice if you could undo multiple steps and not just the most recent move. I'm not the most experienced puzzle player but the mechanic seemed unique to me. I like that you can play with mouse only, my favourite kind of casual game. More than fine for the shy price of two bucks.
