This is an adventure game with interesting characters, colorful art, and bright music. As elementary as the previews look, I recommend this for those who like a real challenge. .There is no change in the cursor over hot spots or items to pick up. .hint system - graduated hints. .skip button available in most games Too often the clues were too obtuse for me. Some people will like that, some will get frustrated. Look up, down & all around for clues. They are on the walls, ceilings, under rugs, in nature, etc. Then you must string the clues together to get a solution. There is not an abundance of instructions, sometimes none at all. One example is when you're supposed to cook from a menu, but there is no recipe. Many times you're thrown into a situation with no idea how to proceed. You must click on everything to get the ball rolling. I felt logic was missing a lot. If you want to feel like a bare-naked babe thrown in the woods without a compass, this is for you.

Fun escape room game. A couple of the solutions are very odd, but the game does allow you to have a hint if you cannot find an item/solution. Interesting storyline, and very pretty backgrounds and graphics.

kosmonavtes: academy escape is the 2020 sequel to escape reality from 2017. they're mobile games, appeared on pc within days of each other in 2021, and since the first was a pretty bad port, I expected (and got) the same from this, so my review is very similar too. once again it's 8 short chapters, but instead of buying a newspaper and packing clothes in a suitcase, it's mostly space action this time. due to the nature of the puzzles it will take more than a few minutes to finish each chapter, except longer isn't always better. gameplay is the same, find items, use them, figure out codes, and so on, but while the first entry was probably aimed at beginners (nothing wrong with that), puzzles here are really convoluted, which isn't the same as challenging in a fun way. some can be skipped and I didn't hate all of them. parts of the cooking and medical stuff were pretty good, the rest less so. there are timed sections, clicking 20 moving things, rebuilding somebody's hand on an x-ray, 'count the flashing things' nonsense and a lot of weird and unintuitive connections to make. the cursor and right click still don't do anything, no changes over hotspots, no hotspot indicator, exits aren't marked (though there are never more than 2 locations per chapter), can only zoom out/close puzzles by clicking a button, so it's still a tedious clickfest. graphics are fine, except for some ugly fonts, music is much better, sound effects not so much. there's still an incredibly annoying beep after every single sentence, but no gibberish and text appears instantly. they decided to also put a just as unnecessary beeping at the beginning of chapter 7 until you deal with a situation and another one every time you enter one of the rooms in the last chapter. the mandatory tutorial is more compact this time, introduces the hint system again and is still full of tapping. windowed mode and resolutions only via the unity launcher on startup and no volume settings, only sound and music toggles and only after the intro/tutorial. why would they be in the main menu like in a normal game? gotta have social media links though, much more important... there are a bunch of languages to choose from (fewer this time), plus chapter select in the main menu, they unlock one by one. it's free on mobile, so whatever they're asking for the pc version is still too much. I paid half price, about the same you'd pay on your phone to get rid of ads, so wouldn't be too bad, and there are a few small improvements, but overall it's still not good enough.
