Even for a game that costs only 99 cents, it has a lot of issues. First off, why does the game look different on the Steam Store page? Aside from the first video, the game looks very different. Especially the first level. It looks a lot better on the Steam Store, but in-game it looks like a very badly made Gmod map. The story is pretty simple. Ortheo is looking for his friend, but while he's doing that, his flying ship breaks down. He will have to pick up gears from various levels to fix up his ship. The story is alright, I'll just skip to the gameplay and levels. Ortheo controls pretty good. He's able to jump, double jump and dive. I don't think I've ever really struggled with the controls, aside from the camera. The levels however are all very empty and ugly. Gears are way to easy to get and the enemies are pathetic. They can kill you in one hit, but it doesn't really matter cause you can just avoid them easily since you're gonna be platforming on high areas most of the time where the enemies can't reach you. There's also only one type of enemy in this entire game, they look slightly different in each level, but they still do the exact same thing. Imagine a Mario game, but the only enemy you fought were Goombas. That's what this game is. You can also collect coins, but they're very worthless. They don't really do anything and for some reason they only spawn in the first level. Lastly, we have the final and only boss in this game. His design looks neat, but the fight itself is lame. All you do is dive into him 3 times while he spawn those Goomba enemies. Once again, too easy. Dying also doesn't reset the boss' their health, so you can pretty much play without risk and still win. This whole game, including the bonus levels took me 25 minutes to beat. I guess this is why the game costs 99 cents. Other issues I didn't mention yet are the buggy menus, which can sometimes freeze on you to the point where you have to close and reopen the game just to get it fixed. The gears you collect are not centered when they're spinning around, which can be very annoying when you try to jump into them. All the achievements are also broken. If there's one thing that I liked, then it's the soundtrack. The snow level and final boss theme sounds really great and the rest of the ost is good aswell. Overall, even with the very cheap price and it being an indie game, this game really disappointed me and I honestly don't think it's even worth the 99 cents. I really hope the devs turn this around when the sequel releases.
