I love this game, but I've had to abandon it because of the difficulty.

Ship starts bouncing when you get to a part where you need to jump making it even more impossible to do than it already would have been, not even sure if it's a bug or a feature because the dev doesn't answer... shit game, don't waste your money on it.

Ok that rainbow effect when driving through portals need to go. It hurts my eyes to a new level.
The drifting needs some extra work to feel fully responsive.
I dont know what it is but after 15 min I started to feel nausea. I never felt this issue with even the most extreme vr games.

I always wanted a VR podracer style game and that is kind of what Velocity Vector is. With a pully strings method of control it is much like learning to control a horse with its reigns. While the game looks OK I guess it is almost everything else that lets it down. First up is the controls, it will take you a LONG time to get used to the controls, I am talking 30mins plus a least and that is with doing the tutorial, but to get good at the game you are probably looking at hours. Then there is the extreme nausea which will make even the hardest of VR legs crumble as well as the truly terrible in-game music. And for the last niggle I have to moan at the price given the content amount and the quality of that said content. There is simply nothing here to justify the price and nothing to make me want to recommend it (at the moment). I do think it has some potential, but it needs work before that is realised.

It is pretty fun. Very original never seen before VR mechanics.
It reminds me of a slower more technical Trackmania type of game with less tracks.
You will probably need a strong stomach

It's good, the core gameplay is a ton of fun. At first glance it looks like a racing game, but think of it more like a platformer.
The controls might not seem super intuitive at first but give it a bit and you'll figure them out and have a ton of fun with it. Really the only complaint is that there is one aspect of the controls that is severely flawed. (you do the same motion to jump and to slide with the robot vehicle, resulting in accidental jumping when you intend to slide.)
The game isn't super long, but the gameplay that's there is fun and I definitely recommend it if it looks interesting to you.

Overpriced for its content and polish.
Not a rhythm game.
Now, this is pod racing. ... Except it's not racing. So.
Now, this is pod.

Wow.... that was... wow. It didn't start very well, my head would always pop up on the bottom of the craft so i had to play standing (feeling the irony in "this is a seated game") and pretty much every loading, from the menu to a game, from the game to the menu, took about 30 seconds, just showing a fixed black screen that made me think the game had frozen.
Gave it a try anyway and... man this is boring. The craft is so slow, i got absolutely no fun out of it. It doesn't help that basically no work has been put into the sound design. The flight is totally silent, no engine or wind sound, anything that would allow you to get a feel of things moving around you. All you hear is this awful music, sometimes low budget Snes like, sometimes cheesy 90's dance, i don't know if it's supposed to feel nostalgic or what but it clearly doesn't do the job. And there's that stupid robot voice that uses catch-phrases straight out of early psone games such as "Is that the best you can do?"
There's some potential here, but it clearly lacks half a year of development. I was surprised to see how fast it got out of early access and i now understand why.

Five Stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is an Amazing racer and platformer combined together creating a most unique VR experience! It feels as though you're driving a mini hovercraft and you need to develop the feel for the drift.
On some parts of the track It's like riding a bar of soap on a wet floor and on other parts it's like flying a zeppelin or a space ship. It can also feel like riding a robotic donkey jumping over gaps in the platforms.
If you love driving and are able to imagine a unique combination of a racing and platformer game then just buy it, LOADS OF FUN! ( and worth the price in my opinion).
Please remember this game is in It's 'Alpha stage' before you start complaining.
Five stars from me! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
