I really enjoyed this casual, cute little puzzle game. Good thing there's plenty of room on the floor for resources and potions, so I could skip the grind to build storage! :D

This game is short and sweet. It definitely requires some thinking, and sometimes I found myself overthinking some of the simpler formulas. The characters are adorable, the design is fantastic, and overall - despite the super-cancer plot - it's very relaxing.
Unfortunately it's a very short game. If I weren't so scatterbrained, I could probably have finished it in half my initial playtime (16.4hrs) - if not less, because at least 2hrs were spent trying to put together a bigger lab post-story. Your long term goal is to find a cure for a plague before you die, but there's no real urgency to the task.
The game isn't particularly difficult, you only need to pay attention to what elements you have and what shape to fit them in. What I struggled with was how quickly I blazed through the story, only to find myself all alchemied out afterwards. I never needed a larger lab, I never needed a better resting spot - it would only distract me from the goal and artificially lengthen the game, much like the post-game. All that's left then is gathering achievements and base-building. Typically I love base-building, but what's the point? I had found the cure, I'd finished the story, I wasn't particularly concerned with achievements - it went so quickly from a deeply passionate labor of love to empty and soulless, which is very sad for such a wonderful overall experience.
I recommend it still because for the short time I did spend with it, I did enjoy it. It's a puzzle game with mandatory exploration aspects - two things I very much enjoy. The design of the world, the characters, the lore and worldbuilding - I can't overstate how absolutely delicious it all is. If that's up your alley, too, I recommend you give it a shot.

Absolutely well-crafted game. The story is lighthearted and there's a lot to explore, the graphics are cute and genuine. While I typically despise puzzle games, I actually enjoyed the alchemy mechanic and it's quite unique in its own way. On a side note, I appreciate how the game doesn't stress you out with resources, and storage/inventory space, you can safely place items on the ground w/o losing them. I'd say it's worth the full price.

Calm and memorable way of harvesting, researching and practicing alchemy. Played the game together with my son who loves the friendly tone and pretty colors.

Unfortunately the game breaking Xylari bug still persists.
The game is nice, but progression of quests is not possible for me at the moment.
