Very fun and love how unpredictable it can be as well as all the events, food being able to rot and tools breaking, little secrets in the game, and being able to pass on and continue as your child makes it a really hard game to put down. The only issue I've had is that while rare sometimes the game has not allowed me to access the menu, inventory, etc. and has to be reset or has crashed while watering plants.

I did enjoy the game but there are definitely some things I hope are updated before it becomes a full release, such as;
+ completing a pillar should give some sort of reward like a bonus so even just finishing one feels like an accomplishment
+connect the fridge inventory to cooking so player doesnt need to keep pulling stuff out the fridge
+stop time while looking through cookbook, just looking to see what recipes you have the ingredients for is a rush because time is still ticking by
+eventually offer a bigger storage chest
+clicking on things that are close together is a nightmare. somehow make it easier to differentiate layers so if for example, there are two cows close together the player doesnt keep petting the same cow
+NPC's dont have any sort of memory. They might say something like 'youre my friend', but it doesnt give any sort of background to the friendship. If you werent making friends with them and you were simply walking by it'd be one thing, but youre supposed to be building a relation with them but they characters are hollow. They dont even mention knowing your mom or dad even if they knew them
+Family members after they move out act like youre no one special. It would be nice if they chatted like they were siblings
+Remove items from game that have no purpose and return them when they finally do i.e. doubloons
Other than that it was fun.

This game is cute! Fun farming sim, I love the use of death and disease to create more stakes in the game. It's very cozy. However, I am already getting bored. I feel like I'm running out of things to do or accomplish even though there is a big main quest and mini quests. In other farming sims, I usually run into this problem muuuch later. Character interactions are ehhh. Currently waiting for my current character to die so that there's something interesting going on

Being 3 hours in, this game has a lot of potential. There is a lot of depth and detail to this game. The graphics are great in my opinion. It is a paper like style, which i have not experienced before. I have only experienced the Spring season, as i find myself stretching the days out to complete tasks, speak to villagers, farm and so forth. The days seem to feel long but in a good way.
I feel like there is a lot of directions you can go depending on your play style. You can turn off settings to make it easier for you if you prefer. You can focus on farming, fishing, and there are many tasks/quests for you to complete. So far, it does not feel like there is an "empty" feeling.
I would like to see if the feeling is the same after completing a full year and experiencing all seasons and other game play features.

I want to like this game. I do. I tried so hard to get into it as well. But it's just lacking in so many ways. The systems are there, but it feels more like checking off tasks than a fleshed out story.

I reallllly wanted to love this game, but its definitely needs some work.
Don't get me wrong, it is very cute, lots of great concepts, and has serious potential -- but unfortunately for me the cons outweighed the pros. For example, time goes by insanely quick in this game. It is nearly impossible to complete more than one task a day because of how fast the days go by. There is also aging in the game, so trying to build relationships with how short the days are while still trying to get anything done is nearly impossible. The dialogue of the characters doesn't make much sense, and wouldn't unless you have played the game for some time. Planting crops takes forrrrever. It is very slow. It was also not possible for me, and I think it would be for anyone, to know who is who without referring to a wiki. To me it seems like you are stuck in a cycle with no real endpoint unless you get married and have kids to continue the game further, and even then it is the same cycle. I also played for a few days but got quite frustrated with it after a short period of time.
Overall, though this game has some great qualities and I am really interested in seeing it grow and what updates come in the future, I don't see myself playing until some changes are made. I enjoy the concepts of real life possibilities like disease, but again I think it could be executed better. I love the art style and hope the developers continue to work on this game because it has so, so much potential.
