This game is awesome i really recomend to players that love cosy and soft games.And a cool story that passes by the time alot of things to do in this game like build your own family and your own house and farm. This game is very cool in total i really recomend.

I love everything about this game, very unique and addictive. my very first play-through is quite something because the village got wiped out by smallpox and I didn't expect there will be WEEKS full of funeral.
will patiently wait for all the future updates and hope my in-game grandchild/nieces/nephews can call me grandma/auntie :)

I really have been enjoying the game. It's giving me vibes of a cross between the OG Oregon Trail game and a more modern farming sim like Coral Island. I've been playing on PC and have noticed a few bugs here and there, but nothing crazy. I'm excited for roadmap updates, and do hope they'll improve certain features (two I think are super important are adjusting payment for artisan goods & better hints for events (I've missed several because I spent all my time wandering around trying to find them)). I also found I liked this art style! I am not a fan of pixel style games, but found this 2D art to be cute.

I absolutely adore this game. It has everything you need for a good cozy game: quests, farming, gardening, crafting, magic, and so much more! My favorite feature is being able to turn certain settings off. For example, tool durability, food rotting, aging, NPC illness, etc. It gives me the comfort of a cozy game without the irritation of running out of money or other resources. I have this game on PC and on Switch. Until a patch is released sometime in the future to prevent the game from closing out every five mins on the Switch, I 100% prefer and recommend the PC version.

It's an interesting mix of survival and cozy that gives me a sense of nostalgia to my early days of Paper Mario because of the art style. Romancing a certain individual isn't as important in this one as other similar games because it plays more along the lines of legacy where you try to have a family tree.

I don't know if the dev's read reviews or not but I LOVE ECHOS OF THE PLUM GROVE WITH ALL MY HEART and I am so grateful this game exists. Personally I put it on the easiest settings and just enjoy the games collecting, fishing, socialising mechanics etc. but it is still the best game to ever exist in this persons opinion.
For those who are just starting out and or considering buying this game, please keep in mind there can be a bit of a learning curve but once you kind of get the basics and know what you are doing it is beyond enjoyable. Personally, I'm pretty sick right now and can't do much of anything for the moment, but I have put hours and hours into Echos because it's the one thing I can manage to do. Thank you, Unwound Games and Indie.io this game is the best!

If it isn't obvious from how many hours I have on this from only getting it last month or so, I LOVE THIS GAME. I am a huge farm sim player, having played *almost* every harvest moon/ Story of seasons game i wanted something that showed a little more of the nitty gritty of farm life, i.e. butchering, and sicknesses, negative social aspects etc. and found this game on a reddit forum.
You not only raise your livestock for milk and eggs, but also for meat, fat and oils, and guess what, if not fed your animals get sick too, so you can't forget to make sure their mangers are well stocked. you manage your multi-generation farm while uncovering mysteries as a settler in the new world while you balance your food and energy levels, keep up to date on your taxes (though nothing a little death cap laced gift can't fix for the most part muwahahaha) as well as avoiding lethal and not so lethal sicknesses. you can put your children to work on the farm or apprentice in town to up their skillset before they become the player character and start the cycle over again. (I'm currently gearing up to pass the mantle to the sixth generation). If you like farm sims but want one with more risks involved then this game is for you!
It has charming first generation villagers, and adorable sprites to keep you connected to the new ones.

The UI of this game is the worst I have experienced in recent years. The fact that people struggle to figure out how to eat food at the start of the game is evidence for it.
Who came up with the idea that you have to move everything onto the hotbar to use.
The controller experience on PC is also bad.
The game overall is cute, but please optimize the control and UI….
