Sonucido played fine on my Steam Deck, and I was able to move to my PC without losing any progress. Stairs, interesting lighting, and different ceiling heights add some interest to the otherwise "classic" level design. I also liked the occasional use of decals (green vine, for example) to help orient the player in the dungeon. The developer includes quality of life settings, like classic/modern movement... which I think is a very nice touch. I did not encounter any bugs or crashes, and the developer still supports the game with updates.
The graphical style is not going to win any awards, but I think it is charming enough. The static images that appear for story beats are quite nice, actually. Game-play is definitely classic 1980's dungeon crawler. with fairly simple combat mechanics. The game can be challenging, as there are few ways to mitigate and heal damage, but combat basically comes down to face-tanking hits while hitting back. Sound-wise, I appreciated the background ambience, the burning of torches, and the slurping sound when drinking from a fountain.
I recommend Sonucido for curious dungeon crawler fans... but maybe buy it on sale (like I just did).

great indie dungeon crawler.
gameplay and graphics are simplistic, but flawlessly executed. it's noticeable that this game was created with a clear stylistic vision in mind.
perfect retro fun that will keep you hooked. basic runtime is 3 to 4 hours but there's some replay value with different endings, speedrunning and hard mode.
also works perfectly on steam deck
definitely recommend
