its not really worth the price for how short it is, sure, it is enjoyable at first but its way too easy and theres no urgency like the fear of being attacked and killed at a moments notice, nothing happens either if you capture everything, if its on discount, knock yourself out but at the price it is, i don't think its worth it.

Game is very fun, just a little too fast and easy. Wish it were longer and you actually got better rewards for conquering other fields.

Yes I super recommend it! I spoke to the dev and he is a very commited friendly person. He is very good at coding and I was really surprised by how great this game was. I had to take several decisions on where I should allocate my workers and find the best path to get the ending the quickest way possible!
Are you still thinking if its worth buying this? Yes it is! Fun is 100% guaranteed! Its up to you if you like premisse and aesthetics of the game!
11/10!
would buy again! =)

a very very basic game, max playtime is 2 hours.
it's a very idle kind of game, you spend resources to get more resource and advance your age to unlock more upgrades,
worth 5€ maybe if you like tycoonish or management games
what the game is missing is probably some leaderboard so that you can speedrun the game and compete with others
the game would benefit from more content overall, as it's a very very basic game

game was cute and starts out a little slow but was fun playin it is also a very short game and not alot of content not really worth the price i paid so probably a good idea to wait for it to go on sale there is really no replayability to it and once you complete the game it pretty much just continues to run with nothing else to do in it

I went in with high hopes, as the reviews seemed good. But very quickly found out just how limited this game is. Overall game experience can only be described as terrible. The only reason I kept playing till the end was to see what would happen (see below on that...) Really, I've seen text games better than this. Don't waste your time.
If you must know why this game is totally unrealistic and unrewarding:
1. The map makes it look like you took over the towns you conquered. But no, there's nothing to manage. You can ever only manage your starting town. You don't get anything except a limited one-time resource gain that won't even make up for your lost troops.
2. Having more troops do not equate to more damage. I made that mistake since that was a logical assumption. 1000 heroes do only as much damage as 10 heroes. The number of troops you have are just hit points, that's all.
3. No new population is ever born. You can only build new houses on limited lots and each time you build a house you get the equivalent population numbers. If you lose your population to war, they are gone forever. You can only replace them by building new houses. And nope, you can't tear down houses and build new ones. You have to 'earn' a few new lots to build them on by conquering towns.
4. As you get ever closer the end game, despite holding over 90% of the map, your production capacity and your population never increase. Your population just keeps dropping over time.
5. And when you finally end the game by conquering everything, what happens? NOTHING. Not even a single message to acknowledge it. The game just keeps on going as if nothing happened. Even though there's nothing else to do. I mean, that's really lazy. See what I mean by unrewarding?
Save your time. Play something else.

This is the most 1985 game I've played since 1985. It's got all the fun and features of early 8-bit strategy games - including not having an ending. If you have 2 hours to kill and want some classic gaming fun, Middle Age Conquest may be just the thing you are looking for. Just don't expect anything too fancy. The one big gripe I have is the price: This really shouldn't cost more than 1 to 2 bucks, considering you will have seen everything in an evening.
