good game just needs more cars like a miata, EVO and subaru

i wasn't expecting much and i still got disappointed just pass

i remember playing a drag racing flash game at school years and years ago that was better than this

They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Drag Racer Unity Source Code" is just an asset pack sold on itch with all the resources required to create an Android based drag racing screen tapper game, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Success Games/Atomic Fabrik. [b]Note:[/b] Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not count towards your Game Collector counts, achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.

considering its bargain bin price, it's surprisingly addictive and fun

I remember playing some kind of similar game like this back in 2001 in my high school engineering class. It was an online game likely called [i]Nitto Tires[/i]. It was actually the only game we could access on the school's Internet, that and some porm that took many trials and errors. The upgrades here suck. You have 11 upgrades and only two are worthy of getting, Turbo and Nitrous. The remaining 7 upgrades give little horsepower and the other two are upgrades for the shifting and tire traction. A third of the decals are missing. The wheels I purchased didn't even display properly. The body kits are nothing special; you get to pick up to five different styles per four areas--spoiler, rear bumper, front bumper, and the side skirts. The money doesn't display properly. I had around $2.5 million dollars and was able to purchase the $5 million car. Oh, and the prices for the cars are missing that extra zero. long waiting times for tuning parts, unless you pay to get them installed instantly...very annoying

You start up with the Toyota AE68 Personally I believe that it should start with something more unique or at least give you an option to pick a starter car You customize it to make it look different, Upgrade it to make it faster, it is some what challenging at the beginning. Once you get the GTR, the game is pretty much over in less than 30 minutes, The Cars you are up against don't get any faster and honestly it starts to get boring and there is not much to do after you finish the levels and fully upgrade your car. Graphics are a mixture of Decent and Pixels, You can have a good looking body of the car and the wheels or body kits are straight off of google images at 13x13 pixel image. It has a few glitches while racing or sometime adding body kits What I don't like that you have to wait to buy more parts until the previous part you bought is installed. I could afford more parts and it doesn't let buy more. The Shifting, NOS, and slight tune adjustment for the gears is a good plus, made it fun. I believe the game has potential to be more, but for now I rate it a 5/10

I keep searching longly for a proper Steam substitute for the web game Drag Racer V3. But this one ain't it. UI is very meh, gameplay is boring, game just feels uninspired. Also, some sound clues are strangely similar to NFS: Most Wanted 2005. So yeah, don't bother.
