Awesome couch coop game. Simple to learn and requires only a few keys for every player, so it is easy to learn for people new to video games - but don't underestimate it, the puzzles still require some amount of problem solving skills. Artstyle and sound design is cute and unique, overall a perfect small game that deserves more attention.

Interesting puzzle mechanics, where you jump from high ledges to eat boxes, which teleport out of the other monster's mouth to gain momentum. The art is detailed and very lovingly crafted. The levels definitely get more difficult, but thankfully there is a hint system for when you're stuck. The monsters are very cute and i love that there are emotes. The best animation is definitely the jumping on the couch. It's so satisfying and never gets old :D

Worth on a sale for the solid core mechanic and cute characters, but frankly a small and unpolished game with a measly 30 levels which must be played in sequence, whose difficulty is all over the place.
Puzzle mechanics are not always appropriately introduced to the players, and the existence of a hint system proves that - Most puzzle games don't need and don't have a hint system, because when players struggle getting past a level during testing, devs can add more levels prior to it that introduce the missing information in smaller chunks.
It's still fun and I do recommend playing it, but only for someone who has already played most other popular 2-player local co-op games (sadly not many of those).

I really liked the single-player mode, since I have nobody here :D It's quite hard that way, but I can imagine some hardcore puzzle game players who liked Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons or The Swapper or something else where you have to solve stuff with several player figures to play it for exactly that reason. Maybe a little too hard in general for children only, but could imagine a child and an adult play together.

Couch Monsters is a really fun and charming Couch Co-Op game, in wich you solve puzzles by making use of your brain and reflexes. The presentation and animation is very humorous, making it rewarding to progress through the levels. For me it is just the right amount of challenge in the puzzles. I had a great time playing it and highly recommend it to everyone who enjoys puzzles, co-op games and a good time playing games together.

Love the game since I first tried it at the Talk & Play event in Berlin. Highly recommended for anyone who likes clever co-op puzzle platformers and for anyone who wants to become a clever co-op puzzle platformer lover and also for anyone else.

I had played Couch Monsters at a DE:Hive Event and it was by far the best indie game I've seen in a long while.
Well, now it's finally out and I can't say I'm dissapointed, the game does everything it's supposed to do.
It's great fun with a friend or SO and works great via Steam Remote Play together (in these times).
If you like this kind of Co-OP arcade-like game with the urge to kill your mate at every opportunity, this is a great find for the price. If you enjoyed Ibb&obb or the Portal 2 Co-OP, this game shares a lot with those.
It would probably run on your fridge and I have not found any bugs so far, the replay value should be huge with different people.

A cozy co-op game with very cute hand-drawn animations and cuddly music that invites to puzzle around with these wholesome & always hungry litte monsters.
