good idea, though the game itself seems good there is 1 main issue and that is the controls feel unresponsive(like when you get hit you cant use the sword, which makes sense but the the amount of time you cant use it for is not fair for a player) the type of way i play in this game is long range like for example the dash attacks then i walk backwards then i use the dash attacks again another wise it would be impossible for me to kill a group of enemies(because of the unresponsive feel of controls), i recommend adding a way to cut the sword animations like for example when you want to go to your next slash do it and not wait for the entire animation to play out, maybe make it so the enemies only attack at 1 or something(a lot of games do this i believe) this will make it so enemy's would try to back stab the player which is unfair to the player, also maybe make it so enemy's don't try to hit you if they been hit(if its there maybe make the hit cool down for them longer) i think you want the player to attack close range after all its a sword but the combat system is not helping with that so maybe add a parry system to, anyway another than the issue with controls feel unresponsive the game is fine, but the tutorial is just annoying well for me it is, i don't like to watch and learn i like to do it to learn, i recommend making a level for tutorial(most games do this i believe), anyway i hope this helps the developer of the game

This game is VERY VERY early release. So I do not recommend the game in its present state Oct 1, 2021, but I would recommend it if it gets radically developed... There is untapped potential.
examples...
visible cursors, save game, resolution controls, controller support that doesn't need to be configured.
The mouse sometimes just stops working for a time... don't know why. The effect when I used my logitech F310. It also would stop striking even after the stamina was fully charged. An explanation of the 3 status bars would be great. Health is red I guess, stamina is Green I think and the blue one... no clue
I agree that the look of the game as potential... BUT.... the worlds advance too fast!!!!
There should be at LEAST 4 stages in the initial lab. You could emerge from stasis with a broken pipe and kill the defensless technician (or technicians) who are attending you. You would gain the power of speech later in the game. There could be a cutscene before you emerge from inside the pod from the Samurai's perspective. His eyes open, text starts to display on his HUD (think Terminator 1). At this point the Samurai could start to comprehend his situation. Let the fact that he was once human come later in the story as something REVEALED in bits and pieces.
While he is in the chamber you can do a Metroid.... I mean, he starts off with super strength and power and bashes his way out or the chamber (gaining the broken pipe weapon) only to be shut down by the first boss who turns out to be the penultimate boss (eventually).
Yes my plot idea is very derivative but right now there is no plot just a horde from which to run so....
Also if you could integrate sneaking,
and various weapons,
a dull pocket knife, buck knife, wakizashi (for a main weapon, then for the left hand)
a dull katana that is worthless until repaired and sharpened (in the market),
What about Sai, Nunchaku, shuriken,
maybe bows & arrows (first a crudely crafted bow, then modern, then technologically enhanced),
crouching, maybe enhancements like Deus Ex but maybe simply acquired not purchased (less of them, just a few and not "mana" to power them. They just work.
(lethal and non-lethal solutions???)
Sorry, I know that I am being excessive.
Also I had the same issue with the lone white/blue enemy being the end of my game. If this is the end of the game... it should not be.

This game is an unplayable mess. At first glance, it looks like a cool concept. Then you start playing it and ugh. The controls are loose and flabby. Half the time you won't hit what you're attempting to hit for reasons that are never quite clear. The blocking mechanic simply does not work, and the power strikes take too long to charge to be at all effective in combat. There is absolutely nothing about this game that is any fun whatsoever. Save your two bits and buy literally anything else.

The battle animations are unnecessarily long. Sometimes I was caught in an animation for 4 seconds while an enemy was attacking me from behind. There is no need to fight any of the enemies, as you can just rush past them and find the exit. The exits are mostly vague and difficult to discern from the rest of the level, as the levels are not hand-crafted and seem to be asset flips.
